I have put hundreds of hours into Arma 2, Arma 3, and DayZ. I think I am needed to be a tester.

I think I am going to take Rocket's and the admin's advice. Many of them suggest that you don't buy right away. I am having tons of fun playing other games right now. I think I will wait till some videos come out before I buy. But then again, testing the bugs would be fun in its own right. But performance could suck. but it would get better. but It could spoil the experience when the good content is added. I am torn.

This good but most people on the forum and reddit know this. We are the ones who follow the news. We know alpha is alpha. But how will xXJohnxDoeXx on Steam know this? Plenty of people will see DayZ Early Access pop up and purchase without knowing what they are getting into. Are you planning on posting disclaimers on the Steam page too? I like the idea of a series of fail safes on the buy button :lol: . Similar to what you would see if you try to delete a file or something. Are you SURE you want to buy DayZ: Early Access? Yes Really? Yes It is super alpha. Are not you afraid of bugs? No Okay fine. You can buy it. But don't say we didn't warn you. Something to warn xXJohnxDoeXx that the game is janky and he should manage his expectations. :D

DayZ uses a extremely modified version of the Arma 2/TKoH engine. But Arma 3 features can be ported over relatively easily. I say relatively easily because we have seen some Arma 3 features come in already

But after you complete the final final lap you must do a cool down lap. Otherwise you could get a cramp. Then you have to walk to the water cooler and get a drink to rehydrate. And then you have to go the officials to check your time of the final final lap. After all that, you can release the alpha. Final Lap>Final Final Lap> Cooldown lap>water break>check time> release SA

I am pretty sure this is now in SA. Arma 3 has some awesome penetration physics. Go check out Dslyexci's videos to see it in action.
