I am in a pistol club at my university. I can confirm this. No offense to the ladies, but some of girls who have never handled a gun or played a first-person shooter have no idea how to reload a gun. The instructors teach them and they learn obviously, but it takes some time. It even toke me a bit of time to load my pistol when I first joined the club. Now, I can load the pistol relatively quickly, but it toke some time. Also, it toke sometime to become accurate. Right now, I can fire about a 4in spread with a .22 pistol from 15 yards away (14m-ish). The instructors say that is pretty good. Against, I human size target, I landed every shot on the torso and head from 15yrds. The main problem with first time shooters is bad stance and over reacting to recoil.

Stop being so harsh to people you have different opinions compared to you. It is really annoying. You sound like a child. and yes, shots have been fired. EDIT: to clarify, the suggested features are not "idiotic". "annoying" is just your opinion. Some people like the idea of ultra realism. I personally, like a middle ground between Vanilla Arma 2 and Ultra Realism. If you disagree, say so intelligently.

RocketFoot is hiding on Altis with a copy of DayZ in his inventory. The game is ready to be released, but it won't be until someone finds RocketFoot and takes a screenshot and sends it to Bohemia Interactive. Hidden with the code of Arma 3 is the code for a mission. In order to play the Find RocketFoot mission, you have to do the following: Find the file with the hidden code. The hidden code is commented out so it doesn't effect Arma 3 and is hard to detect. Also the code for Find RocketFoot is really basic. It is just the player who spawns in Pyrgos with guerilla smocks 1, a P07 pistol with two magazines. One smoke grenade ( I haven't found out what this is used for yet), a IFAK, and a two chemlights. You spawn with a random boonie hat and a bandolier. There is an ATV next to you. And then there is the code for RocketFoot. I am not a codewizard, but it appears that rocket foot can spawn anywhere on Altis. The code also gives RocketFoot waypoints in the woods. It seems RocketFoot also has waypoints in tall reeds and old buildings. This code takes up around 50 lines, so detecting it is not easy. Copy the hidden code into a folder in your mission folder that has the name Find RocketFoot. You have to create this folder manually. once you have made the mission, boot up Arma 3. In your scenario selection menu, you will see the Find RocketFoot mission. It says it was created by Matt Lightfoot ironically. Once you boot it up, good luck. The ATV is helpful but I think RocketFoot is actually just a ghillie suit character. So the ATV probably alerts the RocketFoot who will just lie down becoming practically invisible. I have searched for about 5 hours. I wanted to be the person to have DayZ released but I give up. Help me out DayZ forumers. Follow my steps and find RocketFoot Good hunting

I am sure if left outside they would rust away. But inside a castle, where it could be taken care of, the armor could be in good shape.

It would be neat to find old armor pieces in the Castles. Being a knight in shining armor would have its pluses and minuses. ;)

I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure that the best plate armor could actually stop musket balls sometimes. The main reason people stopped wearing heavy armor is because it was 100x easier to train 100 musketeers than it was to train 100 armored knights. Steel armor would be an inefficient way of dealing with hostile gunfire. The amount need to be effective would weigh far too much. I like the idea of different types of armor being more and less effective against certain attacks. Stab vest is good against melee attacks but poor against gunner fire. Kelvar would be the opposite.

Yeah I agree. That seems to look like 7.62x54. Very Cool! It makes sense too because the Mosin doesn't reall use magazines.

Only in the america does anyone really care about halloween. From what I have heard, Halloween isn't really a big deal every else. Sooo Halloween is just 10-31-2013 (31-10-2013 for everyone else) for the devs.
