Will be different in the standalone, only so much you can do with the Arma 2 engine.

I've found several but they are very rare. If you find 50+ in an area, it was a hacker spawning in traps.

Have never seen one ingame and I've seen most every vehicle. If the guy didn't die after 3 head-shots from a lee though, he is certainly a hacker.

You run into a bunch of guys with AKs and you think they're going to let you go? Never trust a man with an AK.

They can't enforce non pvp. If they ban people for killing others, they will get shut down. They can however set up a private hive and lock it down, then invite other players to come hold their hand.

This and other skins need to spawn like everything else. I don't like the idea of any mandatory skins.

Why would their be bandit skins or anything that's in this stupid thread? In RL you wouldn't have anything to indicate that someone is hostile except for body language and that wouldn't guarantee that the person is a murderer/bandit(just a person wary of a very f'ed up world and not wanting strangers tagging along.) You guys seem to forget this is a survival game, horrible thread, and bandit skins are stupid, their should be no mandatory skins.

I wouldn't mind having all of the Arma guns in DayZ, but if this were to happen, the guns that take up your bag slot in Arma should also do so in DayZ. If this were the case, very few would use a sniper or an lmg. As50 TWS is also a stupidly OP gun, gotta be an asshole to use that gun. And as to the person who was against the cop car....wtf shouldn't they be in DayZ? DayZ needs more vehicle spawns and they shouldn't take 7 days to respawn. Also bikes should be a lot more common...they're bikes...everyone has them in rl. -

Which is best? MK48, FN Fal, M4A1 CCO SD, or M16A4 ACOG?

M16 Acog and M4A1 CCO SD. Mk 48 is a powerful gun with a high rate of fire, but carrying it and the CCO SD is pointless. The M16 offers extended range which will come in very handy if you ever find yourself in a firefight. -

For a couple weeks I was dying a couple times a day to hackers. Things have been much better this last week. -
If someone doesn't die when you put several bullets in him, it's safe to assume he is a hacker or you're a horrible shot and in denial. If you're actually hitting him and he's not dying, log off.
