Reading the forums, i got the impression that the US and other countries servers don't have that much of a hacker problem. But the german servers are even after any BE updates contaminated like hell. One day this week, i was teleported and killed twice, today i was turned into a boar (didn't check 3d view) and now tp to Kamenka for mass killing. This i barely survived by AltF4. Sadly there's not the little improvement in fighting these scripters. What's your current experience playing german servers ? And to all trolls replying with any whiner-comments, just STFU. The whiners are those script kiddies that can't stand to get killed and take their revenge by cheating.

I've made a similar thread about being tired of all the running to the north. I've been hack killed or tp'd 4 times in one week. It got really worse on german servers. Getting killed is not the end but spending 90% of your game time running is sick. Tents are nice but so easy to find, so you have to hide the far in the north too. But it's not worth any more, next time i'll stay on the coast for some PvP action.

I don't know much about the technical aspects. But if teen script kiddies (shouldn't earn much money) have to buy DLCs or Maps or whatever, then yes, please charge money for the maps. They will think twice about buying it, only to exploit and abuse it and ruin it for other players.

Yes, tp in the sky and you die. But you have to be fast as hell to dc right before you hit ground again ? If you're still 10 m above ground, i guess you'll break all your bones or die.

This is wrong, i just survived TP on Server DE 655. I've seen lots of bodies and heard heavy shooting and instantly pressed my macro key for alt F4. I now restart at Kamenko but didn't loose blood or gear.

I don't use any headset or mic, so i can't tell him. It's no problem as you proceed and join the game, but i don't like to hear ny private things.

I like to suggest a simple one time only Savegame. This can be a temporary feature as long as some things are sorted. The player should use it wisely and there will be no more, he needs to start at the coast. You all know the problems. The recent weeks i died of: 90 % Hackers 5 % Trees and gravel 3 % Zombies 2 % Players This is ridiculous, after some weeks it's getting sick. You not only loose your char, gear, tents and camps, that you've achieved after weeks of careful playing. You are punished also having to run all the way back to the north. 90 % of my in game time i'm pressing only one key, the key for running.

What do you mean with "tp to them" ? Nice idea with this temp. " bank vault". There also have been suggestions like "earth holes" recently. I repeat in saying that this should only be a temporary help against the scripters killing players. Without hack killing everthing would be fine as it is.

The idea of a savegame isn't bad at all. Savegames are a gaming standard like many other things. There's always a Real Life, if you got one, and you have to logout immediately. And again, the games idea is not to get killed by hackers over and over again. But as long as you're lucky and can play the game, it's easy to do such comments. Just wait and see.

No, i'm not doing anything wrong, i don't server hop, i don't combat dc and whatever. I even hide in the woods for logging off. All i want is to play it as real as men can do, but some kiddies just can't stand it to loose. They love to kill but they can't take it, that's their main motivation for cheating imho. This is today's generation, good luck for cheating in real life. And men don't take revenge in becoming a cheater too, that's kindergarten. You can call it whining or whatever, if you get hack killed 3 times on two servers in 2 days, we can talk again. Until then, have a good time.

You didn't read it all. The worst part is all the stupid running to the north like a Forrest Gumb. And cheaters and scripters easily remove the trees to find the tents, even without a cheat, tents are easy to detect.

My only advice for a newby is to setup -a macro for a secondary mouse button -or assign a macro for a key on your keyboard to AltF4 (kill process) as soon as you see/hear something that looks like a hacker script.

You're so right. I hate combat logging, but AltF4 saved me today of getting hack killed by some mortar hack or whatever. Some weeks ago i didn't even think about dc'ing and now it's part of my survival.

I got teleported and killed on 13.08.12 , 6.35 pm and 15.08.12 at about 10.00 pm. This happened right after raiding camps at 126-005. There is a camp with 5 tents and a smaller with 2 tents, a long bus is there too. After raiding it the first time, i took an AK Cobra and stored it in my camp far away to the west. It took the cheaters about ten minutes to have it right back in their tent, without any vehicles or choppers to search for tents.It looks like some Cheaters have made their home at this server. There are far too many coincidents. Please help to fight theses pathetic cheaters and raid their camps. Cheaters should not deserve to have a home server and drive other players away. I'll not stop raiding and killing them as well as trying to get any evidence. Thank you.

Next server, nearly killed by mortar hack, lots of explosions. Hacking is out of control.

Thanks for your great help RayPugh. If it was that easy to get evidence, there wouldn't be so many hackers and cheaters. The evidence is in the server logs.

Yes, even Yes, even with a 2500k, i use this CPU myself with a GTX570. ArmA is a fps eater and it's very hard to find a proper setup. And yes, it's random sometimes, it really gets even high end systems to it's knees, especially in big cities and lots AI. But you'll find hundreds of discussions at BI.

Exactly, If i can't find what i need, then another one got it, don't blame the server. Some people always find a reason for server hopping.

Just have a look at the BI forums and use the search function, you should find a thread or post by me with some tests of CPU/GPU utilization. Most likely you are simply CPU limited, ArmA performance depends heavily on CPU AND GPU.

Disgraced, please only take care of the hackers. If we can't play, we can't meet any combat loggers.
