I've died many times after spawning close to other players, never logged. But i don't think it's fair as i never felt to have any chance to survive. Yesterday it happened again, spawned and was taking fire of at least two different guns. I ran away and after one or two hundred meters, no shots heard anymore, i logged out. I'm sure it was legit, what do you think ?

I guess people in the forum are only expecting very serious buttheard complains. That's one of the main problems of the community, everything is so serious. Useless to make any jokes. I don't wonder why people get always pissed about everything.

Need advice decreasing load times with my pc. Buying an SSD possibly.

I run one too. Load times are decreased and data streaming of Arma is improved too. But as it was already said, the connection to a server will not benefit of it. FPS do not rise. -
Finally got DayZ to work.. but got an error when joining servers..

Your welcome. I too couldn't run DayZ without the Commander but didn't bother, just choose the server and good to go.

No, don't do anything manually. When done with installations, install DayZCommander and let it install beta version and the mod.

What i recommend is using Revo Uninstaller, Wise Reg Cleaner and CCleaner, in this order. This should ensure to get rid of any bits and pieces of the installation. Never had any probs using it, and may saved me some trouble.

Ok, that's bad. No error message is the worst case. But until we know anything about the kicking, it doesn't make sense to reinstall everything. Please test different low pop servers in different countries as long as the ping is something below 50. Are you running any 3rd party security tools like Firewalls, HIPS etc. ?

But what message comes with the kicking ? That's the key. If you can start it with DayZCommander, you see the intro-screen, then the server lobby, then it all looks ok so far. So what's the reason for that kicking ?

No, you don't need any account. Update A2 and A2OA, run DayZ Commander to install latest beta and the mod. The message you see is default, i get this too. Choose the server with lowest ping and connect, it can take it's time. What happens exactly when you try to connect ?

I think you're right, it's the power and i guess the revenge for loosing. I made twice the experience getting teleported after raiding a camp and trying to steal a chopper, just yesterday. These kids are not able to loose, they probably never learned it. But we know that nothing is safe in any way in DayZ, so they will have a hard time. All things can be stolen and/or destroyed. They would have to spawn things over and over again, useless, isn't it ?

The problem is not a real hacker, the problem is that every littlebrainkid can copy and paste the scripts. The mass of them is the only problem, you'll have real hackers hack everything. It's like selling alcohol, you can't stop it and kids will always get hands on it.

These traps are called honeypots and are not new. Not a bad idea, but it won't stop hacking. The base of the engine and the multiplayer system are just to vulnerable. But Arma3 and the standalone are in the pipeline.

Copying files of an installation usually fails always. I've installed it from scratch just yesterday. Install A2, update, install A2OA, update and then let DayZ Commander install the beta and the DayZ mod. This worked for me.

Ok, as we talking about an "end game", this item is not for for any normal use like a hunting knife. If you got this end-game-tem, and maybe accomplished one or more quests related to it, you've won the game. You then may get a just a winning-game-message or more health points in the your next life, or a special gear, whatever you like. The game must go on, that's for sure.

Sorry guys but i don't want to sell anything here. And i'll not try to sell my idea. This is just an idea that could be developed. It doesn't has to be any religious item at all, could be something else. The churches are already there, so religion is already in the game, even the churches don't play any major role. As a background, the holy book would kind of "restore the survivores hope in this world".

Yes, that's like it is at the moment. I can confirm this for german servers. I've quit running up north and starting something like a career, it's not worth anymore. I'm so tired of the running, i stay at the coast. But don't take it that serious. Let's just wait for the stand alone.

Went up this rocky mountain at Elektro and found some tents, all empty. But behind those tents i've found this sniper statue, already dead. In a hurry, i took his gear and ran away, but wondered about the strange scope mounted on the gun. And yes, it was another AS50 TWS. Afaik it must be hacked in.But thanks for the other premium gear... :) Uploaded with ImageShack.us

@CaptainBigTroll Are there any threads left in this forum without any insults ? If you've read my post thoroughly then you may have learned that i didn't take the TWS, only the legit stuff. After i did that screenshot i took the Enfiled back, because i don't want to get banned. And taking the legit stuff from a dead player is not cheating. And everybody should have learned that the TWS is not legit. There are hundreds of threads. So this is no excuse anymore. You're not able to read a post thoroughly but always quick with an insult. -
You play a mod, based on a military simulator, full of weapons of any kind. Why don't you play any Greenpeace simulator ? And what you do is in no way a personal style of playing a game. You use a basic windows function to close the current process running, you simply close the game you're playing and have to change to another server. This is just ridiculous. I have to laugh thinking about it.

It's just an idea, but sometimes i feel like all legit players should organize and flood the cheater forums. I know it's a waste of our playing time and is no real solution, but we may feel better afterwards. -
A short version: 1) Use Fraps or MSI Afterburner to show FPS in game 2) Set everything to max 3) Disable AA, PostProcess 4) Test the settings 5) Lower step by step one of the settings and test again (sometimes Arma runs equal or better with higher settings) There are hundreds of topics at BI forums...
