Hi, i'm an OFP/ArmA Veteran but new to Multiplayer. Please allow me some questions: 1) What is a good ping number, when is it bad ? 2) Let's say i'm playing on a Server and RL is calling, so i have to disconnect into the "Lobby". How long can i stay there until discoed from this Server ? 3) Are there any basic tips for optimizing my Rig / ArmA for MP ? Until now i can't complain, so it looks good for me. Hmm, not easy, i like that. Seems there's no direct easy solution. I would do the following: - Router: restart, update firmware, check Port Settings and other security settings enabled - Update Windows - Update NIC driver - Disable Win FW, disable 3rd party FW - Disable any Security Apps -

Ah, come on guys, show a bit of understanding. I'm sure that these cases have to be made public. So we all can take notice and see/proof if it happens again. sure ther's no need to tell any names. And by the way, same thing happened to me, but don't know the sever anymore. I shot a guy, and some seconds after, the session was lost. Never ever seen a lost session before. Right, i can't proof it, but that was in no way a coincidence.

I'm getting tired of these topics. This is bad and that is wrong. Allways complaining and whining about everything what's in the game. I don't care the f... if you call it PvP or Deathmatch or Game. I only say: I love it. P.S.: And if you don't like it. Do us a favor and leave, and play something else. -
Being a bandit, ok, but killing them after using the "unrealistic" voice com ? Sorry but that is kind of cheating imho.

If this is a hack, it's not so bad, and i think i like it. Adding a forrest fire is a nice idea. But it's lacking any sound. :(

Thanks phEus808, my ArmA runs fine so i only thought of Optimizing it for Multiplayer. Do you have any tips for this too ?

Why do you try this cheating ? You're called a survivor, so go and try to survive by finding good loot. I don't understand people that kill the challenge of the game and ruin it for themselves. Most of you don't even realize until you eventually get bored.

Hard to tell. Did you try six launcher yet ? This works great for me. The SL doesn't use the Arma server browser, you may know. Let's see and report back. -

Terrible to die that way, i know for sure. I'm playing Ofp/Arma for years. There's a bug regarding prone position/crawling and some objects. I can't explain it tecnically, others may do that. I now try hardly to never crawl near objects, and i really loved to crawl under trees for cover. I'm pretty sure that objects on a hill are especially dangerous to get hurt when in prone position. Imho this is not a DAYZ issue. I hope they can fix it in A3. Good luck for the future.

I do understand people who wouldn't shoot. But to be honest, i would anytime. He would most likely shoot you and i would always take the chance to get my hands on morphine (bone breaking bug). I don't care for bigger guns or other things.

I'm dead. Had to crawl 100 m to shoot a goar, Food blinking. Back into the forrest for a wood pile, loosing blood every second. Was about to lit the fire when time ran out... Can you pick up my gear, so it's not wasted ? I'd like to see that you Medics get it all. :) -

Shame on me, but i again need your help. Didn't have so much luck this time. Since i don't find any animals since hours, i'm low on blood (3k ?). And my leg is my broken so i need morphine, that's more important. Any medics available ? I'm in the mid-west (?), green mountain, and i could crawl to any next place you like. Thanks guys !
