We understand your anger, but wait until you're hack killed twice a day. I hope i get some of these cheaters with my AS50, let's see who's faster. And after a while, most of us don't need their gear, so they loose in any way. I had hope with the latest patch, that AltF4 let's you start at the beach, they probably still use the last version ?

I would like to know if you veteran players are still happy to run across the map ? Or do you stay in the south ? I must say that being killed is not so bad, Cherno is always exciting, but the running to the north gets so boring. Even if you say that running is a part of the adventure, it's still a long distance. Only a few very well hidden cars in the big cities, wouldn't be too unrealistic. I'd like to see the fight for the cars. To get back to the main question, are you still running ?

I've made up my long way back in the NE. After some boring days i know that there's more action i need. I'll not go any further.

Sorry about the title, didn't know how to express my question. After a fresh spawn yesterday i got some questions regarding bandits/skin: 1) I found a dead player with a bandit skin on the beach ? Can you be respawned as a bandit ? I thought you have to kill some players first to get this title ? 2) Killed a bandit in Elektro but he didn't have the skin and really poor gear ? Do you keep the bandit title after respawn ?

The OP is right, even we got a lot of these threads. I've been killed two times yesterday, by hackers. A total of three. I can only laugh about the numbers by BE. They may do a good job, but it's the peak of an iceberg. They have not found a real solution yet. I love the game, i love the mod and i don't quit. But the situation is ridiculous.

I'd like to help, but did i read of different profiles ? If yes, do a full unistall, i can recommend Revo Uninstaller. After this use a CCleaner. The usual things next like update Windows, install latest video driver. Then do a fresh clean install. That's just what i'd do. It's a long experience, messing around with installations doesn't really work.

People always they you're attached to the gear, i would like to call it attached to the time running, scavenging and surviving time. After i got killed two times by hackers in one day, yes, i'm scared !

It's not my way but it's great that we have different ways of playing, and women here too. I'm playing lone wolf and do some looting for fun, main objective is to kill bandits and raid their camps. But after being killed by hackers two times yesterday, it's getting hard to have fun with this great mod. That's why i stopped moving across the whole map, it doesn't make sense anymore, thanks to the hacker.

Don't be naive please. These kids will always find a reason to attack a server, and there's always a good excuse for it. Like guns in our real world, they are just there, so they are used. You have to take away their toy, banning is all that helps. It's sad that these hacker forums are accepted like any other forum and not closed.

i stay in the east After some weeks of fun, i've been again teleported in the sky and died. And it's no news, that it's only a question of time when this will happen again. I don't quit playing but i'll now stay in the east. DayZ is no marathon simulator and running for hours is no fun when you eventually die by scripters. DayZ is not useless but the nice big map is, if nothing will happen soon. If others still make their way far to the west, they are new or have just not been teleported over and over again. I don't see a point to continue exploring the map anymore. Only for the record, the teleporting happened todayon server DE 1374 hosted by G-Portal.de. After 30 minutes i've seen some players again on this server, so i rejoined and got this teleport-message again. As still nothing could be accomplished regarding these scripts, i highly doubt that it will in the future. My only little suggestion is to give players a one time save game. So they may can at least double their playing time until they die of scripters again. Yes, i'm whining, cause i can't remember the last time being killed by other players, and this great mod is being ruined. But they won't stop us playing. P.S.: Scripter, if you are proud to find this, about your hack, in the forums, then please feel free to feel like a great copy-and-paste master. Nobody really cares what you do exactly or how you did it. I'm sure you have been shot on this server and became that great avenger. If you are just not good enough for DayZ, please do me a favor and return to your Nintendo Dogs and Cats. It just gets boring and annoying. Thank you.

I'm not sure but i doubt that AltF4 would prevent being teleported. I logged out immedeately but on the next server i fell from the sky.

I had some weeks between the two teleports, so the first time was ok. But i'm sure it's only a question of time for everyone here.

I'm back on the coast too. I was killed and thought it's a good idea to update with DayZ Commander, bad luck. My home server(s) and others show correct versions but i get an error msg to download any files. Other serves show loading-screen for hours so i had to kill the armaoa process. So now i have to test some servers and right back to the coast again, brilliant. And on top of this, the new version took 10-20 fps from my avg. 60 on "very high". It was fun to play until today, now it's fubar. EDIT: This time i closed ArmA "normally" and i was back where i left, not on the coast. Maybe some of you are right, that looks like an anti AltF4 feature now ?

I don't know, killing spawning players on the beach is worse than all hackers and AltF4s together. They got a kind of motivation, but what's the point here ? I think about making this a goal for the future, killing those spawn killers.

If you have a proper ventilation setup for chassis and hardware, then it's most probably simple dust. I use a little air compressor and clean my rig any 6 months minimum, every fan is unmounted and cleaned, chassis, everything. The little compressors are cheap and it's definetly worth it.

Why should a hacker be needed to destroy a camp or vehicles ? I've already looted some tents and destroyed them afterwards, like most bandits would do. I don't feel excited or happy to make another player cry, but that is the bandits way to e.g. defend his territory. And many camps i've found had a huge collection of weapons and ammo, so i don't let other bandits rearm. Some even had satchel charges, bad luck. Many players wisely choose areas far off cities and so you look there first. But sometimes they choose just these spots that every player would choose and you find them easily. Camps are easy too spot, and if you use a vehicle, you should be aware that they can be heard miles away, like another dinner bell. It would be smarter not to park them close to the tents. It's part of the game, there's no safe heaven yet.

I'm not banned, and i hope i don't ever get a false ban. And every player in the community can understand that you are pissed, most of you being banned for nothing. So i just want to thank all of you, because you all sacrifice your game time to help (involuntarily) the community to fight Scripters and Cheaters. Don't forget this, thank you very much, you get my beans.

Right, loosing everything due to hackers is the worst, worse then AltF4. But thanks to guys parking a shiny white pickup next to their tents, i don't care too much at the moment. Just trying to get out of Cherno again, a big fun allways. :)

Meanwhile i'm so "detached" that i have to remind me playing more serious. Otherwise i'll die over and over again, that's doesn't make sense. But as long as we got this tent problem, you get the good gear far too easy, if you know where to look. The first time it's hard to get killed and loose your stuff but it's getting better all the time. Now i wonder when my tent gets raided...
