The position we were in, and the amount of scanning of potential areas we could have come under attack from that we did... the shot that nailed my buddy in the head first trigger-pull, and then the third bullet that got me... they came from a high powered rifle, silenced, shot from a vantage point. There is no doubt.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, or what... I know there are silenced weapons. I'm asking about silenced sniper rifles. None are listed on the DayZ wiki that I can see.

Just found this. It was a legit spawn, it had to be because of where I found it. But it's not listed on the Wiki, and I've never seen it or heard of it before. Anyone can tell me anything about its rarity?

I found it inside one of the military tents at Stary Sobor. Not the medical ones, the ones in a long row. I suppose it was dropped in favor of something else non-hacked inside the tents.

Well I hope the sniper that shot my buddy in the forehead to get to it knows that tidbit of information. I sure didn't. Server was Seattle 100. Just FYI in case the admins read this, or just to cover my own ass in case this ends up being investigated.

I had the drop on some guy one time... shot him in the head, he ran around a corner, and was gone. No body. I didn't fail so much as his connection did. :/
