    Who cares? Rockets owes us nothing. We deserve nothing. He said that he does not want to cater to the casual community, and it appears that the impatient ones fit into the category. People act as if their whole life depends upon the release of the Standalone; as if they sit in their room doing nothing, awaiting its release. The less casual players playing the game, the better.

    Sigh. You said that third person works and it makes sales, so leave it in DayZ. Mr. Wanker replied saying that Call of Duty and Battlefield are in first person only and they make sales, far more than most 3rd person games. Do you understand?

    You stated that movies done in 3rd person are generally better than movies done in 1st person. Now obviously your statement is there to support your argument that 3rd person is superior to 1st person in DayZ, or to compare with video games.

    I was essentially saying that your argument, is completely invalid because the person watching the movie cannot control the character(s).

    You do not control the character(s) in a movie or a book. Just think about it and see how your comparison of movies with video games is nonsense. The obliteration of immersion in being able to see more without moving than humanly possible in third person view is superior to that of being restricted in vision, to the extent that first person view is.
