Not sure...I'm switching between the Mk 48 mod 0 w/ DMR and the M14 AIM w/ M4A3 CCO. I don't need an M4A1 CCO SD because I have an M9SD. I think next time I play I'll be using the M4A3 CCO and AS50. Something like that.

In a way, yes. It's pretty much a server disconnected from the main HIVE.

Hey, I apologise for not answering your question, but I'd just like to point out that there is a 'Server General' section of these forums. Your post would be better suited there, and there are pinned threads that may answer your question or help you out with some other things regarding servers. If you are wondering about Private Hives specifically there is a "Private Hive Discussion' section as well. Hope you get your server up and running.

If my memory and ability to read serves me correctly, Standalone Alpha is being released next month [November if you didn't know]. Now, what does this mean? I'm definitely going to be playing SA [not the state you geese] and pretty much abandon the mod for the time being. From what I have heard it is the mod--except better, which is awesome. Since your characters and gear in the mod won't continue over to SA, then there is no point in gearing up and stuff on your main mod character [except for the experience, fun, and other things I suppose] if you plan to temporarily abandon the mod, what have you done/what can you do? For me, I thought it would be funny to take the ALLLLAAAHHHH approach to killing my 15 day old character who was fully geared [M249 SAW, DMR, ghillie, NVGS, rangefinder, every tool--even radio; access to many other weapons and items in my completely full URAL as well. This was my public HIVE character, too]. It all started at the NWAF. I was crouching behind a tree observing the silent airfield near the first hangar. Tranquility filled the air. Dead silence; that is all it can be described as. I then heard a soft *twang* to the right of me. I had no idea what that was so I ignored it. Bad move. *TWANG*-- CRACK-- Ahh, the M24. What a sexy weapon. Although, not when bullets are coming out of its barrel in your general direction. I immediately go prone and roll to the next tree. Proceeding to stand up I sprinted for it--zigzag, zigzag! Another *TWANG*. Several more twangs and cracks filled broke the silence of the air. I just kept zigzagging. Shortly after I become bored of doing that, so I sprinted onto the middle of the airfield and ran in circles. I was hoping to confuse my opponent and even perhaps spot him. Luckily, I did. Standing up between two pine trees, with his eyes point at me. For some of those who do not know, the M249 SAW has a bipod attached to it which, when prone, allows the user to fire on full automatic with next to zero recoil. A perfect suppression weapon. And thus is where the term spray and pray comes into application. I did so, unloading a whole 200 bullets into the treeline where my opponent was standing formerly stood. I didn't bother looting his body because he had nothing that I could want or need. Sorry LaxBro, but you should never get onto the wrong side of a player who has an M249. But wait, it's not over yet! This is where my AALLLLLAAAAHHHHHH fun comes into play. After killing my boyfriend I ran up to the stone walls on the southern hill of the North-West Airfield. I went third-person and watched around me. I then saw some guy sprint out of the eastern treeline [running to the start of the airstrip] shouting on direct com, "FUCKING HACKER! FUCK OFF YOU SHIT" I had absolutely no idea what he was on about. I couldn't see anyone else around. Well, not until I heard faintly of direct coms, coming from another player running from the eastern treeline similar to the other guy, "AAAAANNDDD IIIIIIII WILLLLLL ALLLLWAAAAAAAYSSSSS LOOOOOVEEE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" I started to laugh. It was absolutely hilarious, seeing and hearing one guy running from a supposed hacker cursing his head off. Doesn't he like Whitney Houston? I didn't know why he thought he was a hacker, until the makarov appeared in his hand... *BOOOOOOM* Dyslexia Ruels was killed What? My my, that's one explosive makarov. I then knew that he was a hacker. I also knew that I could not stand for this. One of my friends [who I never knew] risked his life for no reason to die by the hands of a hacker. It was my time to shine...never had I done this before! "Don't run from me again bitch HAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHH!" shouted the hacker. He turned towards me, and I stood up behind the small stone wall... I knew he saw me. So I took the opportune moment and... Started spraying M249 SAW rounds into him. "ALLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" *BOOOOOM* Inception. was killed Needless to say, I couldn't even finish the word. :( Other that, vote on the poll! EDIT: When I mean 'abandon', I mean 'stop playing public Chernarus hives'. Man I'm an idiot.

Oh no, I'm not going to stop playing the new maps. I think I may have mis-worded some phrases in my text. What I meant was, that I wasn't going to play the public hives of Chernarus for a while. I now realise 'mod' is a horrible choice of word to justify what I was trying to say.
