I walked into Eb Games the other day to pre order the indescribable [emphasis was a necessity] Assassin's Creed III and I overheard one of the employees speaking with a customer. The customer was asking "so which city do you prefer? Chernogorsk, Elektro or Berezino?" I was completely surprised to hear this. The employee replied with "I honestly don't know...but I like the one with the two hospitals. Which one is that?" The customer was unsure so I politely butted in and answered the question. "Another fellow DayZ player? Sweet!" Both the employee and the customer were super happy to meet another person who plays DayZ. We talked for about half an hour or so after that about various aspects of the game. It was awesome.

Yep. I was playing on a Private Hive and had just respawned near Kamenka. Moments later, I see a URAL come up the road from the west. I stand in the middle of the road hoping for them to run me over [as I wanted to spawn at Cherno to meet up with some friends]. Unfortunately, they stopped and the driver got out. And so did 7 other guys. They were all in Camo clothing [aside from one ghillied guy who had an M24 on him]. They ran around me and started shouting "GET IN THE URAL RIGHT NOW" and stuff. So I happily did as they said. We were driving for about...an hour or so when we reached Pik Kozlovka. I noticed that they had a shittone of tents and a few vehicles hidden up there. High end gear, the lot. I stayed in the back of the URAL to tried and be invisible. Maybe they'd forget about me and I could escape somehow. The driver hopped out of the URAL [to get some more stanag magazines for his L85]. I thought about driving away but they could blow out the tires easily. But then I realised something. Before the driver hopped out, him and I were the only two left in the URAL. He said on vehicle channel that he was "going to get some food" [and thus log out]. But I was the only one who could hear him as it was on vehicle channel... A plan was forming. URAL + steep hill + rocks of Pik Kozlovka = not a very good ride. The other guys didn't know that their driver had left. So I switched to drivers seat and waited. "Alright, let's go raid cherno for shit," said one of the members [i think he was their leader]. They all piled into the URAL and waited for "their" driver to take them down the mountain carefully on the side. Little did they know... I started up the engine and drove over a tent. "The fuck man?" asked the guy sitting beside me. "Shit, sorry, I was texting someone. I'm done now," I replied, hoping that they didn't detect the change of voice tone. They didn't, oddly enough [should have gone to spec savers...]. Oh well. I drove over three more tents and headed down the mountain. "THAT ONE HAD OUR ENGINE PARTS IN THERE YOU FUCKING MORON. That's it, get out Jack. Stop texting you fuckhead, let me drive." Rage filled the back seat. And here comes the cliff... Down goes the URAL, getting air for three seconds. It then impacted with the rock and everyone was knocked out. The URAL exploded, lighting up the dark sky. Surprisingly enough, I was the only survivor. [Why is it that the driver survives but the passengers don't? Weird.] Needless to say, it was absolutely hilarious.
