As of late it seems that crashing helicopters/jets in a manner that causes it to explode executes these scripts and thus bans the player. I have experienced this myself, as have numerous other players.

It could be for the following reasons. 1. The server's loot system may be exploding. 2. The server could be exploding. 3. It may have been already looted. Wait around for the restart to occur. If a the weapon loot spots do not provide what they normally do, then it is a problem server wide.

That does not work anymore, I do not think? With 1.7.3 the debug monitor was removed completely. At least, this is what I have experienced and heard.

Arma II/OA is a great game, and yet so many people do not play it. And if you don't really like tactical, full-on military games/servers, then play some of the Life mods. They're awesome.

T'is not as bad as combat logging. Zombies aren't going to come onto here and complain, are they? But nevertheless, one shouldn't do so.

So one automatically goes insane after killing x amount of people? Not everyone's mind is the same. Some are trained, some adapt, and some crumble quickly.

Is it wrong to have too much time on your hands? Perhaps people work extremely hard beforehand to provide sufficient time to create something like this video? Back on topic...such a small jump in DayZ can result in hours of crawling, hours of pain.

I think you are all forgetting the length of the barrel on the Holo. It is shorter than the M4A3's, therefore is more useful in close combat situations. Also, why have either of these weapons when you can have the M14? More damage, faster fire-rate, more range...ammo is almost as easy to find as Stanag. But then again, it is far louder. And doesn't have a flashlight. So without a flashlight you could completely disregard the M14 and my second paragraph. Tin cans <3

Well actually, it depends on where we live. Firearms are a different story. The gun licenses here in Queensland aren't too strict [although they have been stricter as of late]. When I was 12, all I needed to do was complete a training course for rifles, handguns and shotguns. After that, all you have to have is sufficient money to purchase whatever firearm [within reason, of course] you wish. [Although, 18 is the age requirement to legally own a handgun. I forgot about that, silly me.] So there are several firearms in my house which I use reguarly. I also know a lot of people who live in Queensland that have the same kind of weaponry in their house. Australia is quite good for weaponry.
