Don't serverhop. And, you need to run away (Around 100m) from the place you spawn for the loot to spawn, if there isn't any at all.

Yes, you are able to play the normal OA. Either disable the @DayZ expansion or rename the @DayZ folder in your ARMA: OA installation folder.

News flash: Helicopters are not in the mod at the moment, and admins can't do things like spawning players to a specific location. What you encountered, was hackers. I'm surprised you survived with just a broken leg. Not because of the fall, but what caused it.

I get the same sometimes. Open SixLauncher > Options > Uncheck "Determine Server Pings" There are 1800 servers, and the launcher is trying to ping all of them. Some connections can't handle it, for some reason. (At least, that's how I understand it.) http://puu.sh/KCdC

Everything that happens after "--- 5 days alive ---" can be confirmed by the people who were in the LOTC server with me at the time. - Spawned - Found Mountain Dew at Elektro. --- 3 days alive --- - Teamed up with two people. - Traveled with them from the shore to NWAF. --- 4 days alive --- - Found SVD Camo - Gave SVD Camo to Person1. - Person1 kills someone who started shooting at me, saving my life. - I loot Antibiotics from the body. - We separate. --- 5 days alive --- - I find M14 and CZ50, take them both. - I get shot with 6 days in record on my character by "Justin." (Around 150 zombie kills, 90 headshots. No player kills.) - Justin takes my Mountain Dew(Fuuuuuuuuuck) and CZ50, leaving M14 and Antibiotics. - Spawned again. - First item I find: Tent. - I find a Lee Enfield with one mag. - I find a helicopter crash-site with FN FAL + 2 FN FALs with Nightvision sights. - I pitch my tent nearby and place my FN FAL into it, along with the 5 total clips I found. - Server restarts with no warning, erasing my tent and my gun/clips, and of course, changing the crash-site locations. - I head to Novy Sobor and find another Lee Enfield. - Ran over to Stary Sobor's store. - "Nick" spawns behind me, I circle around him, and shoot him once he finishes loading. *** - I loot everything he has. (Winchester, M1911, ALICE Bag, All tools besides GPS.) - I find a tent about 100m away from the store, taking 2 Blood bags from it. - I found a GPS in a Deer Stand about 2km from the tent. --- 1 day alive --- - I'm still alive. *** I told him I was sorry, after someone told me on Steam that I killed Nick, specificly. I shot him because I just arrived to the store, and it was full of stuff. At that moment, I didn't think I'd have time to type him, telling I'm friendly. Nor did I know if he would've shot me anyway.

I tend to team up with random people. If you happen to be near me sometime, I wouldn't mind an extra member in the group.

YES. You damn well SHOULD update as soon as possible. Even if that means every day. Not enough servers update when stuff comes out.

Did you save each vehicle and tent? If no, than that's your problem. If yes, then wait for next restart.

Let us all have a quiet moment in the memory of some guy who tried escaping zombies by jumping off a building.

My point is this; When you kill an X amount of zombies, you don't suddenly get a hat spawning on your head. When you kill an X amount of bandits, you don't suddenly say "Oh man, killing all these bandits from under this tree has made given me the ability to run faster than ever before!" BUT! If you were to suggest, that you could get clothing off of zombies (like their bloody jacket, or new set of pants that blend in the environment better), I would love the idea. Same with taking Camo clothing and Ghillie suits off of killed players. (You can't, at the moment.) Edit; It isn't a "unique way" of getting cosmetic stuff. Take a look at Team Fortress 2. You kill a bunch of guys, you complete certain achievements, and BAM! New cosmetic hats. Looting stuff off of players isn't a unique way, either, but it sure would fit the atmosphere better, and feel more realistic.

The same place you're getting this "rank system." Cosmetics are fun, and I approve. But oh god, keep EXP out of the game. Feed it to zombies -- if they even accept it as food.
