Inb4: "GO BACK TO COD, NOOB." Edit; My opinion is no. It's a permadeath game, you're supposed to start a new life once you die. That includes not knowing who or what killed you, or how.

People who have been playing the game for about a week have most likely learned where "natural" spawns for items are in most hotspots. I doubt that players would find a normal loot pile to hide their trash in to avoid leaving a "footprint." But if they do, that's also a tactic. If I was being chased in a terrain that would give away my path, I would either step on hard ground or find other footprints to walk on, or even walk backwards! (To confuse the chasing party.) And yes, changing item names would be fine. Like "Empty Soda Can" and "Empty Tin Can" are natural spawns, while "Used Soda Can" and "Used Tin Can" are from players.

Current uses of trash is distracting zombies/players and breaking the hospital glass. But why would you remove it, or make it not spawn? It's only realistic to find piles of trash lying everywhere, even if not thrown away by an actual player. There are prop military soldiers in military outposts, damnit. But I do agree, drinking cans of soda and eating food should leave an empty can behind.

This is old news. Almost every character was wiped due to one of the updates. I think it was intended. -

Map markers are per server. Some servers have map markers disabled, so you can't find yourself on them. -

Generally BattleEye will kick/ban you for using hacked(spawned) items, legit in DayZ or not. Don't risk it. -

No, Hangars don't count as buildings. It's too open, and zombies have never been forced to walk in them. At least not on 1.7.1.5 and newer. -

You can actually go 40km/h with a bike.. On flat ground, no less. Even faster downhill if you keep pedaling. On land, though, not as fast. -

So I was running around with a Hatchet, and ran across Austin, who had a silenced M4. I followed him around(I was right beside him, he knew I was there.) and after a while, he fell down some ladders. I he didn't instantly die, but I bandaged him while he was unconscious. Only about 10 seconds later, some guy (hacker) teleported EVERYONE to the debug forest. Soon after, everybody started killing each other off. I axed a question from someone who pointed a CZ50 at me, and recovered said weapon soon after. I proned onto his body, hiding myself from everybody else. Then I proceeded to log out of the server, surviving the unfortunate event, AND recovering a weapon. -
