Dancing.Russian.Man replied to OG Steezy's topic in New Player Discussion
If it's a laptop.. No. -
Pathetic "friendly" cheater, GUID for all
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to (OCN)Vortech's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
It's alright, I am quite the weird individual in regular standards. The reason why they are not allowed to be posted is.. How do you know it's legit? Anyone can alter/write some random text to get someone banned. There's a public list of confirmed hackers(with proof [read: logs]) that has been posted around the forums. Use that, don't post random GUIDs here. -
Unfair Global Ban?
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to Supremacy (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
The only way for someone to get your key is if you TRIED to download a hack, which turned out to be a little piece of program that changed your CD key into a banned one. Enjoy, byebye. -

I am done, and so is most of my Clan due to hackers
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to Fatetaker's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Don't let the door break your legs on your way out. See you in standalone. Edit; Any thread that starts with "This isn't a QQ thread." IS a QQ thread. This one is no exception. Edit2; /offended-mode, activated. How the FUCK can you know? The DayZ standalone will have its own unique engine, same as the one for ARMA 3, but stripped down and a LOT more strict and locked down. That means no modding and no scripts(I assume). And as a standalone, I can say for certain that Rocket will pick a different cheat-protection other than BattleEye. I'm hoping that ARMA 3 won't have it either. And since BattleEye is the main problem of the hacking, besides the openness of the ARMA 2 engine, the hacking will be FAR from as rampant as it is for DayZ right now. -
How about hackers mass teleporting every player into water? I think that's a good example of an "impossible situation."
-
GT 320M. I'd say that's your problem. Edit; ARMA 2 is very unoptimized. Even with my GTX670, 8GB RAM and i5-3570K I only get about.. 50fps on all max with 1000 visibility(since that's DayZ cap).

Stop kicking for script restrictions.

I blame just the entitled people. Which.. Is about most of the people. -
Hit-detection is client-side. Latency doesn't affect whether you hit the zombie or not. Unless it's downright desync. M1911 and Revolver take zombies down in about 3-4 shots, no idea what the Makarov does. And a headshot with any weapon will normally kill a zombie.

Hackers - Should be priority number one
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to Prof. Awesome's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Rocket can't do a god damn thing about hackers. Stop playing and wait for the standalone, the problem will be fixed by then. Edit; DayZ is currently just a mod. The hacking problem comes from the openness of the ARMA 2 engine, which was released in 2009. It has been like this for years, but the popularity of the DayZ mod and its cruel nature made people want to just hack, because they either find the gameplay boring or extremely difficult. Edit2; Not only is the problem not related to DayZ, but it's also in an alpha, on a broken engine. If people look at the mod, see all the problems, and are convinced that the standalone game on its own engine is going to be just as bad, do we REALLY want them into the game with us? Be honest. I should also point out the fact that DaZ will NOT BE COMPLETE when it comes out as a standalone. It will still be in the alpha-stage. Becoming a standalone gives Rocket all the power over DayZ that he needs. The engine will be more strict, and for sure won't be allowing scripts, like what the hackers use now. (And hopefully/most likely will have a different cheat-protection.) -
Is it possible?No Snipers
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to Tysonn's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
What about my precious MMOs? I never got to choose how to play. It was do or don't. -
Only difference in speed should be made between not wearing shoes and wearing them(any). I can run just as well with any shoes, no matter the quality. But running bare-foot on pavement is just not as fun.

Looking for European server with 3dP:on and CH:on, low activity, no reset
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to 3361's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
The thing about the server never being reset means that it'll start running slower and slower, eventually giving you FPS problems. Even connection issues. -
aimbot or uber skills?
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to harken (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Don't twist the OP's words. What he describes sounds a lot like "Shit, someone's logging in. I need to hide and take better aim at him." If you kill someone while they're loading in, you'll get the infamous "X was killed. (friendly fire)" and then they re-appear alive, just like they normally would. The shooter very likely knew this, or was just really cautious. And, I assume that the server had third-person enabled, and that, ladies and gentlemen, means that he could've been safely peeking behind the wall at him in third person, moved to first person, side-stepped, scoped in, and shot. It really doesn't take more than 2-4 seconds to do properly. -
aimbot or uber skills?
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to harken (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
And you are an asshat for calling others asshats for saying something that is completely possible. When you spawn into the world, your character is standing up. Always. The character then disappears for a split second and appears prone(Edit; In this specific case. The character always disappears and re-appears in the stance you logged off in.), which is when you start seeing the world. Even if he was hugging a tree while he logged in, it's completely possible that the person who shot him had noticed him log in. Why is this not surprising to me? Because I've had a person log in right in front of me when I was looting a store, which ended up in his death, AND another time in a church. The person I shot in the church as soon as he turned to face me called me a hacker in Side-Chat, but after I explained what happened, they calmed down. Now, start accepting the fact that there are good snipers in ARMA 2 or go back to your AAA FPS games. -
Name spoofer, maybe? (Because displayName) And the second row could be to execute a file, likely to hide most of the code. I'm just going on a complete whim here, though. I have no idea what all that means.
-
First of all; You were global banned by BattleEye, not Rocket/DayZ. That means you even play the regular ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead, besides on non-secured servers. And now to your point. You don't need a new Steam account to play ARMA/DayZ again. Just buy the game again from Steam, and change the serial key of your current game. That way you can get your ban away, since BattleEye has banned your serial key, not your account.

Full controller support for standalone Day Z (to Rocket)
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
As nice it would be to have a working, proper controller setting for the standalone as an option.. How many times do console ports to PC come with PROPER keyboard and mouse support? -
Honest question about bans, please serious responses....
Dancing.Russian.Man replied to MGreenwald's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
All -I- want to ask is.. The hell is an "honest question?" Edit; If a game allows you to ban people, then SURELY it is allowed to do so. Use that ball of grey matter inside of your head. -
