Unfortunately the fan base here on the forums is not very understanding. Nor is it very intelligent in most cases. It's lazy, it's whiny, it's every negative adjective you can come up with. Which is why Rocket gave up(for the most part) reading the forums a long time ago. He still checks the forums every now and then, and makes announcements as usual, but in general, he doesn't read our blabbering anymore. If you want to be where he's at, go onto Reddit. I don't have the exact link, so maybe someone can quote me with one. -
Tip number one; Do NOT download or use an "FPS booster," or any other .dll, .exe or .sqf(script) that's supposed to "improve performance." These will steal your CD-key, which will be sold to a hacker for a couple bucks, and get you banned. Edit; Just saying this as a pre-caution. I don't want to see you coming back in a week or two, asking how to get unbanned by a Global Ban. 'FPS boosters' are the most common way people are losing their CD-keys.

I have a feeling it's a DDOS attempt again. There was at least one before(around 1.6.X), lasted for about two to three days. -

You can't get banned for that. Just like you can't get banned for being teleported across the map by a hacker. You are still teleporting, but BE doesn't punish you for it. -

Probably not. I see no reason why it should be (besides "because it's nice"). Creating physical copies for the game costs money. For the CD and for the case and box-art. This would bring down the profits from the 70% Valve leaves for the developers. (They take a 30% cut for every sale.) -

Yup. You can host your own DayZ server. It can have any rules you want for it to have, and it doesn't need to be open 24/7. As to HOW to go about this.. I have no idea. Never done it myself. Not even for ARMA 2. (You might want to make sure you have a very decent internet connection to host a DayZ server even just for friends, though. Not to mention CPU and RAM.) -

That I do agree with. It's not like Bloodsuckers aren't scary and trouble-some enough as it is. Being able to see them at least a little bit would be a little help. But again, I'll see how much of your arguments are correct when I get to get killed by one, myself.

This is a Namalsk-specific update. Deal with it or go play Celle like the little girl you are.* Bloodsuckers are not going to be in DayZ Standalone and probably not any of the other maps. (* Obviously no offence to actual female-gamers.)

Hell yes~ ♥ ... Regardless, I have a feeling they're doing the "cloaking" by making the model entirely transparent. And just by looking at how the regular zombies move about, they could easily just slip and slide with a backflip in front of you because of desync or some other random glitch. I wouldn't call it teleporting just yet. But I'll probably come back and do something about my posts if my opinion changes with actual experience. (Because I'm honest like that.)

I think you're thinking of the wrong game. Edit; But please, can you list a few servers where these Bloodsuckers exist? I would love to do a little exploring. I haven't seen any in DayZ, before. This would be really fun for me. Edit2; Oh and.. The Bloodsuckers don't "teleport," they use stealth. Edit3; /engage lecture mode After reading your post a couple times, I get the feeling you haven't played any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games before. And don't know the reason Namalsk exists. First off, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. In short, it's a game about a radioactive, post-apocalyptic "Zone" in Russia after the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant(CNPP)'s reactor exploded, causing anomalies to appear and for many things to mutate. The Bloodsuckers are pack animals. They use cloaking to sneak up on their prey, appearing only right before striking. These are very effective hunters, and any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. player thinks twice before attempting to engage even ONE of them in the game. They hit hard and take a lot of beating. Engaging a pack of them usually leads to the player's death even on the easiest difficulty. (Unless you count the fact that they only move around a limited area, so if you stand outside that area, you can just shoot at them without them ever reaching you.) In DayZ, there isn't such limit. (From what I can tell by your post.) The Bloodsuckers are authentic, as an unarmed player would never have a chance with Bloodsuckers even in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. As for the map Namalsk, well, that map was created specificly for a STALKER mod for ARMA 2. There's even a ground anomaly in there that is almost exactly the same as in the original game. The bunker in A2 is also inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R., it's most likely made because of the underground research facility near Agroprom Research Institute. Edit4; So yeah. Don't touch the Bloodsuckers. They're as balanced and authentic as it gets for them to still be Bloodsuckers.

If you're renting a server, you're not hosting it yourself. Renting a server means that you are paying someone else to host a server that you can control over a Remote Console/Tool. So your computer or connection has nothing to do with the server's performance.

Didn't think I of all people would need help with this, but.. Whenever I type #beclient GUID in Direct Communications, I get this; My GUID: That's it. Just a red "My GUID:" with nothing after it. So now I have 2 questions. 1. Why isn't this working? I tried a couple servers, and they all do the same. (Or don't do, rather.) 2. Can somebody check for my GUID for me? (A server host/admin)

You have a vector map that you can zoom in more than you'd ever need/have to, with map markers AND filters.. What more do you want? And I really hope English isn't your native language.
