If you were Global Banned, there is nothing anybody on these forums can do. The main developer, Dean 'Rocket' Hall is only the creator of a mod. He has no control over Global Bans by BattlEye. The mods on these forums are also powerless, as all they can do is moderate this forum, by locking/moving/editing posts/threads and banning those violating the forum rules. If you want to make a ban appeal on your Global Ban, please contact BattlEye, and wait for their response. I give advice and direction, not tutorials. Google your problems. But basically what you need to do is enable the Stereo Mix channel in your Windows' audio settings, in the Recording Devices tab.

Well you're going to find this out eventually anyway, so; - Change your microphone(in-game settings) to Stereo Mix - Mute your game, and preferably everything else that you don't want people to hear(videos, Skype, etc) - Put music on and open your mic Stereo Mix is basically everything you can hear. If you have Stereo Mix on and you turn your mic on while your game is NOT muted, people will hear your game.

The "unique player counter" only applies to the amount of people playing on servers that are connected to the official DayZ-hive. At one point Rocket pretty much locked it to a certain amount when the amount of unique players was getting absurdly high(Or was it low? Can't recall the exact reason.), but it seems to have started adjusting itself again. the counter doesn't keep track of private hives or fan-made versions of DayZ, hence the decline of "unique players." Let's look at DayZ Commander, and remove all server filters. > 6071 servers found. 3357 of them have players in them, currently. > 2693 servers have over 10 people in them. Edit; If I hide servers that are unresponsive to me and ones that are empty, I still get well over 750 servers that I can play on. That is a (pardon my language) SHITLOAD of servers dedicated to a single mod. Even if the popularity of DayZ was "declining," the amount of servers is absurd. Higher than some F2P or triple-A games have.

It's a glitch that everybody gets. What's your problem? It's been in DayZ for as long as I can remember. And I've been playing for a very long time.

The "Beta" is just one .exe DayZ uses assets from ARMA 2: OA, meaning, you need the full game. Edit; Also, DayZ is launched through ARMA 2: OA, not ARMA 2.

The Standalone will be a lot more optimized, but with the addition of more zombies and the graphical updates, the game has been said to run about the same as DayZ, according to Rocket.

Go play WarZ if you think "safe"-zones are a good idea. Bandits will camp in the hills nearby with sniper rifles and kill you the instant you walk out of the town. It has been proven to fail as a concept. If you want to make sure that your loot doesn't get lost, stolen, or otherwise.. DayZ isn't a game for you. (But that doesn't stop you from playing variations of it.)

Sneaking into someone's base and taking something that isn't yours doesn't make you a troll. Killing a couple clan members doesn't make you one, either. But I'm sure some people will go to that server.

Wrong section or not, over-used or not, this is unarguably the best Harlem Shake video that I've seen. Luckily I haven't seen that many. Have some beans.

Blizzards and the like are more possible the Standalone because of the new weather engine implemented from Take On Helicopters. Other than that I can't say much. Maybe it's possible on the ARMA 2 engine, but it might also seem very shoddy.

It's a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. based map, and it is by far my favorite one. The color thing you described was most likely an emission wave. It's also from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.(along with Bloodsuckers), and you can avoid it by being in a building. Though the bunker at Objective A2 doesn't count. http://images.wikia....cker_eating.jpg There is a very easy way to kill them due to a certain mechanic, which I'm not going to spoil for you, because that would ruin the panicy feel. One tip, though; You cannot hurt them while they're invisible.

The ARMA 2 engine is very open and rather easy to mod. So changing weapon values(damage, in this case) is possible and easily done, compared to other things. But the DayZ mod doesn't change the values from what they are originally. This is why you should go onto the BI/ARMA 2 forums and complain there.
