i like this. make itso you cant put weapons in them, and small save space to ballence them out. cause right now, tents are kinda pointless.... way too easy to find

im not gonna lie. i kinda want to try and raid this :blush:

practice in the mission editor. alot. seriously.... if you practice for a good 30 mins or so, and activly think about how to get better, you should be able to peg someone 800 m out with a DMR with them running. and actualy do the math of how fast people move, bullet speed, and all that. for example, a dmr round moves at about 850 meeters per second. a person sprinting in game moves about 25.7 kelomiters per hour. do the math, and you should be able to lead effectivly too. and forgive my spelling. it sucks....

but... that means that i cant just shoot about 80 rounds of my MK48 at random people and giggle as they freek and run...

What is everyones prefered sniper out of the DMR, and M24. i have used both and im kinda weghing the pros and cons of each. and before anyone says "Oh oh 50 cal!" please no. i dont realy like them. i dont know why but i realy dont. good for anti vehicle, but i dont encounter many of those while out sniping zombies for fun.

Sorry if this is you i am discribing now. But.... ill just throw it out there. i was camping with my sniper a the NW airfiled. in my opinion, anyone who goes there is a bandit, because normal survivors wont risk going there, or if they do, they hit the south barracks and run. and i was fully ready to kill some people, and i encountered 4 people total. Person #1: ran across the runway which was when i first saw him. he was... wait for it... carrying a flare at night, running through the NW airfield. i couldent get myself to kill him right away. it just seemed wrong. like he was bait or just realy that stupid. either way, couldent do it. so he runs into the fire station, i see more zombies going after him than i have ever seen before. it was bad. he whipped out his glorious lee enfield, and i could hear him shooting from my spider hole. i see him run up the tower of the fire station, and get ready to put him out of his misery, and right before i shoot, he goes down. zombie got him. so i complain on teamspeak for a few seconds, and wait for another person. Person #2: first, i dont blame this one for what happend at all. i had a new toy that i wanted to play with. the MK 48. i see him run into the runway, and start to loot a corps that was there. i start shooting, put 78 rounds his way, he logs. again, dont blame him at all. were i him, i would need to change my undies. (and its possible he didnt log, we just desynced, and i moved to a new spot, and we just never saw eachother again) Person #3: in my spider hole again, waiting. kinda bored, just bullshiting on teamspeak. i hear what sounds like a 50 cal to me. i get nervous, and start to scan around. i hear it to my right. i look over there, and sure enough. i see lots of zombies. no people though. i hear more shots, and zombies running, but still no person. i then see zombies climbing the ladder of one of those light towers, you know. the ones with absolutley no cover. i think to myself "no..." but sure enough, i see a lee enfield warrior up on the top. i giggle for assuming it was a 50, and start to line the shot up. he then dies, and i see blood pouring down the tower. i sigh, complain again over teamspeak, and wait again. Person #4: i had to go out of my hole for food. i didnt want to, but i was out. so on my way back, i hear gun shots up in the airfield. i decide to go to my spider hole instead of running up there straight on, even though it would cost me 5-10 more minutes. when i get there, i see a flair 800 meeters or so away, and sigh, knowing that i lost a kill by going to my spider hole. still, probably a good call though. anyway, i see a small Z army running in that direction, and more gunshots. then nothing, but a little "Derrek was Killed." i dont know that was Derrek, but im pretty damn sure. i could see what looked like zombies eating through the fog. Moral of the story... what happend to the NW airfield? it used to be a point of tention, and gun fights? my guess is people that are in for the fight are either down death-matching electro and cherno, or hitting helo crash sites. any thoughts anyone? (and sorry for spelling :blush: ) PS. these events made me download FRAPS, and i will try to make a montage if it continues to be so bad :rolleyes:

ehh, it varies. usualy i am there watching and waiting, but today i have been studying and on the forums. Im patient, and the fact that it isnt all scripted "get here 10 seconds later your target comes" is actualy vary entertaining for me. in AMRA2 online i sat for hours in a spider hole waiting for a convoy, to not even shoot. just to tell the rest of the team it is there. im just strange like that though, i know :blush: . i actualy case out an area, figure out distances to targets, and have it all written in a little notebook i have. and puppet, good story :lol: i loled a bit, and not at you. i have thrown a grenade thinking it was a smoke grenade B) ... its just a good story :lol:

Ok, i did finaly manage to take someone out here. two shots, first missed, second to head with my DMR. i feel kinda bad though... i thought he had NVGs wich made him a threat (Its night) but nope. i also only saw him because he was shooting. dont know at what either...

i didnt watch it yet, but something about noob, probably a good CoD kiddie thrown in, and a DayZ Fanboy for good measure. i hate seeing a good post go without flaming :)

my reason. if i dont shoot you. you will shoot me. i just shoot first, so you dont get to me, or my freinds. if you got no gun, i wont shoot you.

if your using a arma 2 launcher, launch it in CO. otherwise, i have no idea. dont want to say it, but i woud probably swear, than reinstall

kinda depends, what distance are you going to be at? how much do you intend to move during the fight? will you be down in cover, or running from rock to rock, or tree to tree? and mostley, what do you like more? it realy is mostly personal preferance. i personaly use the M4 more, because its my movment gun. when im supporting others, im using my sniper, but if i was doing overwatch, i would prefer the M16 over the M4 any day. hope this helps?

How about random military convoys that you have to attack to get the best gear at.... just an idea. i like shooting things... but have it so you can open fire, and kill them, and if you shoot carefully, you can even get the truck they were in, or jeep, or whatever they were using, so that you can get high end vehicles from them too.

i am a Arma veteran with spelling problems who lives on the east coast of the US. i tend to do very well with a sniper rifle, though i am also good with pretty much any weapon. i am looking for a good group that works together on a common basis. dosent need to be a guild, or clan, or whatever you want to call yourselves but it dosent hurt also. i have skype and ventrillo, and can get teamspeak if needed. If anyone wants to group with me, and preferably not just shoot the back of my head, contact me, and we can work something out. i normaly try to play at day time, but i have also been growing fonder of night time. (Nothing is more enjoyable that sneeking into a building to see 15 zombies watching you:dodgy:, than killing them all:D.) also, unless i am jumpy, i dont shoot on sight. and then its only if your gun gets pointed at my direction. so if you see me, just please lower your weapon, and we should both be able to walk away without any bullet holes. hell, i will probably help you out.

ok, i live on the US east coast, so it is 1000 right now. though if your up right now, i will usualy end eather now, or an hour ago normaly. ill pop on and see if you are on the forums when i start, and try to message you. i have also been playing the ARMA series since... before it was ARMA... so i hopefully can try to help teach you something. or look like a complete moron :P

Hey, im a current serving AF guy also on the east coast. im all for grouping up everynow and then, but dont have a ventrillo or teamspeak server. though we can still group up and use the ingame direct chat if we can find eachother. oh, and my Steam account is Dregdor also.
