You might want to get the precious gear your might have stored in a tent, just to make sure. Wouldn't want to lose a whole bunch of ammo and what not.

They already glitch through doors and walls. They run faster than you, and they're rotting. I think they're hard enough.

Play on very low graphics quality. Works for my computer, I don't get often frame drops, and I have a Toshiba.

I agree with Yeni. All there is to do now is settle down with some friends. Maybe do some ambushes on some innocent survivors in stary, or kill people at the airfields. Find a jeep. Ram zombies and people. Find a bike, run over people's heads.

You should pick it up. It might fair better in a firefight with some bandits or other players, and it should be a little less loud than a Lee Enfield.

Trust no one except your friends. Problem solved.

Running through Stary or something. Attracted a horde of zombies, running for my life, ran into a pub, cornered by 3 hordes of zombies all coming in through three doors. They ate my face and then some in probably 1 minute.

I don't use it for looting buildings. Loot is loot, I'll take anything useful. I've only used it to find my way to Zeleno and to some other places.

I'm sure they'll stand a chance against a group of bandits with snipers and other military grade weapons. <3

I think once you get your gear, then you become way more cautious, and it could lead to the game seeming to get tougher. I never think it is too easy, because if I do, I will get way too cocky, I'll sprint into a town without a fear in the world and get cornered by a horde of zombies. That's why I typically live in the woods and hit deer stands. I got a freaking Coyote (24 slot) backpack just by living in the woods.

If you decide to loot Cherno or Elektro first, that's your call. For a guy like me, when I try to loot, I usually run into a bandit or get noticed by a zombie. If something doesn't work the first time, try a new strategy. I had died probably 10 times by being an idiot and trying to hack my way through cherno with a hatchet. It will not ever work like that, and you'll attract to many zombies for your liking. What I did was just run inland. I had no weapon, not even a hatchet. The first thing I see inland is a red-roof barns, which is a sight for sore eyes. They usually contain a nice little shotgun (either a double-barrel or a winchester) and there should be some ammo that comes with it. Also, Lee Enfields spawn plenty of times in a barn, but watch out, they're extremely loud. If you fire a shot in Cherno or Elektro with that thing, you're going to be swarmed by zombies all over the city. As I looted the barn, I found ammo, bandages, painkillers, and a wonderful starting gun, the Winchester 1886 (with 2 mags). I began my journey inland like a pro. I stayed in the treeline, I looted deerstands, and as others have said, I planned my route. Always observe before you go loot a city, because half the time there won't be a single open building in the entire town. Once you learn the building models, you'll recognize a building that can be open a klick away. As I was looting the deerstands with my Winchester, I was desperately looking for a better gun against players (because after the Makarov, most guns are a 1 shot kill on zombies, and the more gear you get, the more paranoid you become), and to my surprise I find a freakin' AKS with 2 30 rounds mags and a Kobra scope. One last tip: Don't ignore tin cans. They can lure zombies out of important buildings and you can walk right in unseen. Patience is key in this game, and no matter what, you WILL die. Never get too attached to your equipment.

Tank traps are really easy to get over actually. You just have to vault twice. But barb wire spam is just stoopid

I've only murdered someone once for food and water, and some ammo because both of us had the same weapon. I allowed him to clear out the barn that we were going into, because I only had a hatchet, we looted it, and he lead me over to a double-barreled shotgun, and then I sent a 2 round slug into his forehead, and finished the job with a Makarov.

I found a tractor sitting out in the middle of nowhere, with the gas tank full. I named her Bessie and drove her around the mountain until I got shot in the temple by a bandit.

I haven't gotten the sickness yet... but it sounds like it can have a very large impact on the future DayZ. Maybe at some point Rocket can raise the spawn rate of antibiotics, because if you get ill, you'd be pretty much screwed. I'd advise that your group get a fire going or find some heatpacks, maybe that will help him get warmer, and it can protect the rest of you.

I got arma 2: CO after the beta patch for Arma. So I'm good. :D

1: Before you make an argument, please learn to speak proper english. 2: That's why you don't go to one town to look for supplies. I've been into some towns and only found buildings full of tin cans and tires 3: Forests have deer stands, in which one I had found had an AK in it along with some canteens. Past the forest, there is a vast mountain range, which holds a lot more little villages than the coast does, and usually those villages have a smaller population of zombies. 4: When you're looking in those fields, look for red roof-top barns. They're a sight for sore eyes, believe me.
