I can see a face shot with combat helmet, but not the motorcycle helmet. If you hit that might need morphine for that hand. -
Why worry about PVE servers, when there will be 1000+ vehicles, helis and spawn with DMR servers to saturate the true vanilla DayZ.

Also in the document/dayz/user-profile-name there is a setting: sceneComplexity=1000000; Try changing it to 500000 or even lower. I also use these startup paramaters: -nosplash -noPause -maxmem=8192 -maxvram=2047 -cpucount=4 -exthreads=7 Almost have the same specs except for the GPU AMD 965BE 3.9ghz, 1ghz 7850 2gb, 8gb 1600mhz ram

If you are in windows, and after you start the game it is "unsupported" it should be the resolution causing the conflict. In the config you can change the resolution size to match the TV. I would also save that config file as "read only" so it does not change to a default.

In a way I feel cheated because I played so much Arma2 before the standalone came out. I knew the map from all the custom missions I played in Chenarus. I would countinue what you are doing, sounds like you are enjoying the game. -
Maybe it would help if this book was put in the standalone.

I do the same thing with the 12gauge when we go shooting. I reload about 200shots and just go blasting in the forest and about 150 shots arm all bruised. Shooting is so fun though you put up with the ache. We where so tired one day shooting I could not even hold on to the front grip on the pistolgrip 12gauge. 3in magnum 000 Buckshot is even worse. -
Everyone thinks their playstyle trumps all others. People think its a good idea to penalize a KOS player? Whats next? Thats like me saying, "Oh you are so friendly in the game you cannot even pick up a gun".

I just googled a few temp charts for the 7770 (under load), and they were between 70-74C.

If you think the larger fixes and patches can take place faster than smaller fixes. You might be annoyed.

Request: A couple days notice of impending character wipes...

But that message is the notice. If you re-read it it says, "and many more things that will disrupt your gaming experience". Don't get me wrong I understand what you mean, thats why I get more careless with my character when I know a patch is coming. The character wipes are for security reasons, so it has to be unannounced. -
I tried do do the same with no luck. I even shot at the gas bottle to see if it would explode.
