man, i felt all good because i just found an ak74 and m1911, but then as i crouchwalked away from the firestation, here come four zombies from nowhere. so i end up using up all of my m1911 ammo, and a clip of ak74 ammo. which is aggravating, because i have never found military-grade hardware before. it's clear that zombies have SUPERvision now, and are clearly all descendants of superman. because i literally crouched in a bush and testing their vision, and while sitting dead still, in a bush, a zombie starts having a panic attack from two blocks down and starts charging me. really? -

stupid codfag. also, your sentence doesn't make sense. your first one. it's like saying: if i see anybody, and they come even close to me, regardless of whether or not they are hostile.

get off this game, shooting people for no reason is wrong. go back to cod. also, you deserve to use the lee enfield; it's the loudest gun in the game lol "ringing the dinner bell" for the zombies.

what the fuck...i joined a server, and something (maybe this patch) made me spawn FIFTY FEET IN THE FUCKING AIR...so guess what? *descending whistling* splat. knocked out, bleeding. woke up, legs broken. 4k blood. BUT! i found a morphine in the building RIGHT next to me! YAY but still wtf

yeah, it's really annoying when a zombie spawns ON TOP of something good in a building, and it refuses to move. the only solution is to find a can, or throw a flare. press F to switch weapons. your current weapon is indicated in the top right of the screen.

landmines are an awful idea. let's just imagine the game with them: you make it to the NWAF, and you go and check the barracks. just before you enter them, your legs are blown off. you are then knocked out, legs broken, bleeding. you then see a bandit come out of the barracks, take your stuff, then place another landmine and wait. you then bleed out, because if you wake up and move, the other landmine goes off. TL;DR, it would promote lootfarmers or assholes blocking loot spawns, and instead of the inability to get to it, you die. -

i know! zombies can just teleport through them; the only purpose they have is to block loot, and protect lootfarmers.

i can never understand this; how can people like if the game is damn near impossible, escaping form zombies becomes no longer possible if they can run indoors, and all of this other stuff? there's a difference between challenging, and FUN. all of these additions that makes zombies more of a pain in the ass take away from the fun. as of now, the game is fun, despite the fact that everyone in chernarus was a kenyan before they were infected. -

or we could do what dice does, like in the case of mirror's edge. if you pirated the game, the first level contains a jump that you need to go full speed on, but you won't be able to make it; the game detects pirated files, and therefore slows you down. so they let you voluntarily walk the plank lol -
possible solution to puny falls shattering legs

A descend button. Like your character would lower themselves off the edge, rather than just walking off the edge. It could make drops surviveable, or like if you do this off of a building, you would break you legs rather than death. I dont think this is possible on the arma 2 engine, but it would be a neat idea. Or maybe even make rope an item that works in the same way; you lower yourself off edges. Discuss. -
