omgwtfbbq (DayZ)

man, i have the same problem. ok so since my computer sucks, i have to put everything on lowest possible, 1280x720 resolution, 50% graphic models. and on single player, i get about 70+ FPS. but when i play dayz i get about 20. wtf!

first i plan to get something good from the SWAF, then head to the NWAF. so far i have an ak-74, lots of food, ammo, and in three weeks of survival, have only alterted two zombies.

play on empty servers. or low populated ones. when i go to raid cherno/elektro i go to a server with ~5 people, get what i want, then join 35+ servers afterwards. i don't do empty, because it seems unfair, but feel free to do it if you want.

also, to the people who say that it will never work...watch the video. it's completely possible. it's just that nobody attempts it. i'm too much of a weenie to do it, considering i panic and run away whenever i see anybody. (thanks for the paranoia, PKers)

the thing is, this could still NOT work! for example, the other day, i was sneaking around elektro, when suddenly, gunshots. i ran and hid, then looked around. sure enough, some asshole with a makarov was behind the firestation shooting at me. so i take my 1911, and open fire. he dies, but if we used your solution, i would have been penalized. that kill was out of pure self defense. i even gave him time to reconsider. i said "stop shooting me, prick. i didn't do anything to you. if you want to murder people go back to COD" ....aaand they still kept shooting. so i killed them. that was my first kill, and i would like to not be penalized for something i didn't start.

Or, another problem would arise: assholes go onto no PVP servers, raid the NWAF, and get the coolest shit in the game. then go to regular servers, and buttfuck everyone.

No. if i knew that nobody could kill me, then i would run around without a CARE in the world. i would stroll through cherno, maybe hike all the way to NWAF. i would feel too safe. No.

i had this too...couldn't aim down the sights or fire my AK-74. i thought it was some gay server setting, but, i guess it's a glitch. either way, don't expect people to not kill you if you're standing there pointing a gun at them.

1. food and water (duh) 2. gun and ammo 3. hatchet (for stealth, yo) 4. hunting knife (unlimited food from animals) 5. matches (hatchet + hunting knife + matches + animals = unlimited food) 6. tons of bandages 7. water bottle if available (unlimited water if you can find refill spots)
