i always play ridiculously slow when i'm sneaking; so i'm okay with the current zombies. this is a game that requires large amounts of patience.

more guns but with less attatchments would be good. but not too many guns, as stated before.

Why even bother having a shoot on sight clan? Everybody shoots on sight, anyway.

I agree, there should be more shotguns and pistols. Plenty of people have shotguns in the country, and more should be added to the game because of it. As for the person saying the PDW is NOT an UZI, you're wrong. That is in no way an MP5K or an MP7. That is an UZI.

pff...i don't pick up snipers. i use my main weapon for CQB and zombies. which is why an M4A1 is the ideal weapon for me.

Is that why? I thought it's just another OP weapon in games. It seems like a good idea, in theory.

And how are sniper rifles directly linked to vehicles? You can use any gun on a car.

I have never been killed by a sniper. Ever. I state as an observation that there are too many snipers. i think CZ550, M24, and one other military grade sniper should be in the game.

that's the main issue here; the respawn system throws them in, then people dupe them, and soon enough there are hundreds upon thousands of the same gun.

My bad. Even still, let's cut the snipers down to two or three.

the as50 is a one-shot kill no matter where you hit the target, that's why so many people use it.

once you go inland, finding food is really really difficult, because there are miles and miles of nothing but one or two deer stands. do not go inland unless you have hatchet/hunting knife/matches

so me and my friends finally meet up, and for the first time in dayz, i play with friendlies. we hit the NWAF, then stary sobor, and a few helicopter crash sites. we were heading for a forest to disconnect from a good day's work, when suddenly, headlights. now, this is the first car i've ever seen in dayz. working or not. we all drop and lie completely still as my heart starts racing. for a few seconds, nothing. seems like he turned left instead of right at the intersection we were to the right of. then, it appears again. a black SUV. one of my friends starts firing at the car, almost being run over. the four of us shoot out the tires, and the car stops. we all keep firing and move closer. i run up to the passenger window, and another friend runs up to the driver side. we both unload into the driver, when BAM! the car is gone. we knew it was a hacker, and swiftly left to avoid the hacker's ALT+F4 revenge. so why is this significant? there were only six people on the server. us four, the hacker, and the owner. so 1/2 of the other people on the server were hackers. ONE HALF. i am now terrified to go into the 30+ player games. this was also the first hacker i've seen, and to see them on such a low population server is ridiculous. hacking really IS out of control.
