I'll only pick it up if I don't already have another primary. Easily the worst primary. Mainly because of the lack of a quiver, but also that long distance shots are ridiculously difficult.

Even if DayZ is forever branded with the "alpha" title, perhaps we're out of alpha. Maybe dogs is when the beta begins. Stop saying this is an alpha mod, people. Just don't call it anything. Call it a game. Point being: incomplete mod --> standalone game doesn't make sense. Where are we in between that?

Okay, I see where this is going. But how long until completion? Is completion in mind, as in, do you guys have a harmonious DayZ in your imaginations, or is it ad-libbing as you go along, until you eventually decide that this is the best it's going to be?

It should only start to fade back in when there is 1/8 or so left on the hourglass. Quick pass-out periods have rapid fade in because the timer moves quick. But I like your idea.

I like all of the ideas, but instead of experiencing most/more than 1/4 of these things, it's: Spawn --> suicide because of spawn not being close enough to Cherno OR Spawn --> run into Cherno, get killed by AS50 --> repeat OR Spawn --> run into Cherno --> get a gun --> run to NWAF --> get more guns --> raid tent city and get all top gear --> kill people for a while --> come and complain on the forums about lack of things to do So putting these in would be a waste of time for now, because most people won't experience them or ever even know they were implemented. Maybe if people weren't retarded when playing this, then more medical situations would work. But for now, 90% of people do the above three. For the other 10%, good for you, want a cookie?

So 3 zombies spawn, rush at you, and when you shoot them, 5 zombies spawn because you fired your gun, then you shoot them, then 4 more spawn, you shoot them, then 5 more spawn, then you run out of ammo and die from being overwhelmed. GREAT IDEA! :thumbsup:

Continuing the snowball, there should be hero/"bandit" skins for people with camo clothing/ghillie suits. Having a ghillie suit is great, but it sucks because if anybody sees me, there's a 99% chance that they assume I'm hostile, because there is no hero skin for ghillie suits.

Why not spawn with a crowbar? It sucks and it's already in the game. Seems like a good noob weapon.

Should have stayed in the helicopter, you would have survived. FUN FACT: If you're in a helicopter, and you AREN'T the pilot, you can survive any crash from any speed/height.
