After looting Green Mountain, I traveled east to Pogorevka, and eventually to Novy Sobor. There was a recently spawned-in guy who was semi-geared up, and being the nice guy I am, I met up with him. We did the usual friendly?? QEQEQE kind of thing, and we talked about what we had and where we were going. I was telling him how it's interesting how we can now read books we can find, and he asked if I had a book. I had picked up Heart of Darkness, and asked if he'd like to hear a few pages. He agreed, so we both sat down near a well and I read him fifteen pages or so. I love these moments in this game :D (I was fully geared up with a gas mask and an assault rifle and like five bags of rice, so here's some proof that not everyone is out to kill you)

I don't understand why anyone would even consider this...how would you carry a ballistic missile on your back? And how would the average Joe know how to launch said ICBM? Even if someone had the launch codes there's a ridiculous amount of procedures that would have to be performed in order to even get to the countdown. As for if someone were to launch it, a nuclear weapon detonated anywhere in Chernarus would destroy the entire country, or irradiate it beyond survivable limits, not just one airport or one island. The entire map would be destroyed with half of it becoming a crater. Not worth rocket's time or effort for a pointless "endgame"

Here's your answer without grammatical errors or stupid "answers": Eating when it says your character is hungry is the bare minimum of eating you can do; you can eat far far more than your stomach allows. You have to fill up your stomach (which holds both food and water, with a maximum of 4000 whatevers. Your character feels full at 3500 unitwhatevers), let it digest a little bit, then fill it with food again. When food digests, it adds to your food meter, which has a maximum of 20,000 foods. It says you're hungry at 600 foods so again, eating when hungry is doing the absolute minimum to stay alive. Loot spawns are messed up right now, and due to them still patching stuff in as a part of the development process, it may stay that way for quite some time. They'll likely have a hotfix for this by next week or the week after, so just be patient. You did pay $30 to test, so you're going to have to accept some of the missteps. Just eat everything you can find for now, as holding your food in your backpack is far less beneficial than holding it in your stomach.

Seriously, I don't know what you're doing wrong; there's plenty of food. My guy is full and I still have tons of food. Get off the coastal cities, go to Novoselky or Chapaevsk. Stop complaining on the forums that you can't find food.

I want to paint my axe

I've never seen anyone around any of those cities except Berezino. You either were extremely unlucky (unlikely) or you didn't visit the towns/didn't look hard enough (likely). Either way, you should have kept going west; the coastal cities, especially Elektro and Berezino are almost always empty.

Go inland, or go west (face inland and go left) because all the eastern/southeastern towns are looted. Try going to Cherno or Chapaevsk

Same to me; I thought I had my 7 bags of rice character that was limited to regular servers, due to my switching to a freshspawn on a hardcore server. But no, I ran around with the new guy and got an axe and traveled for nearly an hour, and when the server reset, I switched to another server to find that character replaced with a freshspawn. I try another hardcore server, and it's the rice guy. What the fuck is happening with the servers, and can someone explain how to zone in on a character I want to play as? (It is saving rice guy but deleting any other attempts for some reason)

It isn't a bug. Your health is low. Low blood = muted screen colors. Low health = very blurry. Many people try to disable this by pausing, then going to video settings, but all it does is remove the effect from your screen. Eat some food and try to stay hydrated. A BLURRY SCREEN IS THE ONLY INDICATOR FOR YOUR HEALTH. DISABLING THE EFFECT REMOVES YOUR ONLY WAY TO KNOW HOW FAR YOU ARE FROM DEATH. MORE BLUR = FEWER HEALTH. 0 HEALTH = DEATH.

How do you play with the new update?

My microphone is super ridiculously low whenever I record with shadowplay; anyone know a fix? I have microphone boosters in both sound blaster and control panel on maximum and it's still too low.

Third person = point defeated (unless that screen is black too) I want to use the burlap sack as an extra backpack or something of the like. Similar to the protector case or medkit, but can be used with any item.
