It might not be client-based but region-based...were your friends in the rain right next to you or far? -
1) Combine walkie talkie with battery 2) Right click and turn on walkie talkie 3) RIght click to scroll through channels 4) , or . to switch between direct communication and talking into the radio Anyone within 1km of you on the same frequency can hear you.

Servers do not save your equipment for a few minutes after logging into the server...when the time is up, it saves your stuff -

Vest blocked the bullet. Your shock level passed your blood level, causing you to pass out. Eventually the shock level went from just over the blood level to just under it, and you woke up. -

Eventually when the zombies and onscreen objects reach the level of Left 4 Dead or Dead Rising, then there'll be gore. Zombie AI currently takes up a lot of space, so there aren't very many. They are trying to simplify the coding for it, and then hopefully when they reach that level, we'll get gore -
