if this is the case, was your character breathing hard? Even jogging causes your character to increase their breathing rate. If you continue for too long you can still have issues. When I say stop running, I mean come to a complete stop for a few seconds. Take your hands off the keyboard and let your character stand there until their breath normalizes. -

Death stories & what you lost?

DayZ Mod. Was alive for seven consecutive months and played every day or every other day. My entertainment was going around as a medic and healing people all day long. Been shot at and shot, but never killed. Lost an M4 CCO SD, PDW SD, ~7 clips for both, ~50-60 cooked meat, a UAZ filled with tires, windows, cooked meat, scrap metal, and medical items. Why did I lose all this amazing gear? One day when I logged in, after nearly a week of not playing, the game wiped my character. I'm still 99% sure I hold the record for days survived. On top of that, I have the least amount of kills. Zero. I hadn't killed anyone for seven months. -
It should take up 2 slots when open and 1 when closed. (At least, if they ever decide to add more squares per current inventory square)

It would work until someone comes up and demands their pants, and when they don't give them their pants, a sniper shoots one of them, and they force-feed the other one rubbing alcohol

Instead of just saying they're a bandit, or they're cowardly, it has the most slots, or they just don't want to be seen, I just thought of a new theory. I now consider it canon. They are remaining members of the Chernarussian military hunting possible vectors of the disease. They tried to contain it at Green Mountain and failed (That part is actually true), and now the remaining members seek those still in the country who could spread the disease. Makes more sense than CoD kids. There, I gave story relevance to griefers. -
I found a pile of guns in Vybor today. There were five guns in it, mostly B-95s. Waterbottles, snaploaders, water tablets, all of that. Tons of stuff in this pile. There was also an SKS and Mosin down the street from it. Did someone just dump their payload? wtf...

I've never actually been KoS'd (weird, I know). I've been shot before, but I was being tracked by a guy while I was wearing a gas mask and an assault rifle. Reason enough for me to get shot. Besides that, the only times I've died were from zombie mob or starving or bleeding or something. -

I have Windows 8 and it's just Windows 7 with a bunch of bullshit tacked onto the side of it. You never need to use over half the features on the computer. Go with 7, or if you don't mind the occasional headache with Skype, go 8. -
I scouted the area around the pile, but found nothing. I checked it out, grabbed a snaploader for my B-95, then left. Nobody shot. (I absolutely thought it was a trap too)
