Signal Flare... is it possible?

There is that sort of flare already implemented, and they are for the M16/M203 found in military bases. They are called M203 flares, they even come in different colors. -

Ive seen it too, this bug, is problematic. I'm too afraid to even set up a wire peremiter around my camp for the fear of the bug being seen miles away. -

Happy Birthday Rocket. The new zombie spawns are quite good to say the least as it 'points' people to new weapons and tactics that are more realistic. Also, makes me want to send extra men on my scavenging teams due to increased difficulty. Wire kits were always kinda messed up, perhaps a different model or something would work.

I for one like the new zombie spawns, coupled with the new sounds and faces they turn this game from "Oh look, zombies." to "Oh shit! Zombies!" And listening to casuals cry is always fun as well. And Monad, I like that smash and grab idea of playing, let's hope everyone can stop crying and do it. -
Yes. Ammunition change, we have all seen the same taunting description, with M1014 shells, 870 shells, and winchester shells all being 12 gauge, yet we can't interchange them. I suggest that all those different shotgun shells either use different calibers or that all of the current shotgun ammunition be removed and replaced with a single, universal round that can be used in all shotguns. Simple idea, simple (I would think.) solution. Thoughts?

We had 2 snipers to the west, one to the east, how he got that close I have no idea, but it happened, and we all were very very sadfaic afterwards.

I like this idea, with the actual rounds seperate from the magazines, but this will probably be hard to code in and thus we probably won't see it for a while. Also, makes guns in general more difficult. inb4 drowning in bullets but no magazines in sight.

Yeah, no AA12. Even a few well placed rifle shots to the tail rotor can send a heli spinning straight to hell though. But yeah, no. This is not BF3. No USAS 12 + Frags.

Yeah that coupled with the common ammunition would make it the single most valuable gun in the game, but like I said in the OP, Rocket is probably not adding in more content anytime soon, but tweaking the ammunition, making it standardized, then messing with the spawning a bit to make all the shotguns except for the winchester rarer would be the best compromise I can come up with at 4 in the morning.

New weapons probably won't be added in some time, so I am going to add some more to my suggestion. As was stated, and I knew beforehand, the Winchester is not in fact a shotgun, and I think it should be delegated to some sort of pistol or rifle round of whatever caliber, or even removed in place of another slavic weapon that is relatively common, like the Mosin Nagant, as was suggested before, but that's another suggestion. I agree that buckshot ammunition, as stated by Beeman, should be pretty common and easily locatable, like it is at the moment, and I also like the idea of making the M1014 and Remington 870 shotguns rarer, to balance it out, but add in a different sound, something loud and distinctive, to keep that risk that if a bandit hears that gunshot, they will know where you are and will more often than not want that shotgun. I like the idea of the double barreled shotgun, to give limited use to the now-standard shotgun ammunition, and the availablility of the ammo and the increased rarity of better shotguns should keep balance.

This is an issue with the whole database when a lot of players are online and loading/saving their characters. The server can sometimes get all wonky and not let anyone load during these times as it is at the limit. It has been said before and I'll say it again, this is an alpha, everything is not perfect, remember the Minecraft alpha?

Roaming zombies - Is it possible?

Blergh, I read this after I was posting about this same type of suggestion, great minds think alike, I guess. I support nonetheless. -
Remember that this is a poor post-soviet slav state, if you look at most of the villiages they only have a few buildings, farms are small, people are not that closely-packed excluding the coastal cities of Elektrozavodsk, Chernogorsk, and Berezino. Aside from those three places and Zelenogorsk there wouldn't be massive hordes that can overrun you at every turn, but faster, more independant zombies that are used to hunting and blitzing the small, isolated villiages and small towns that are the mainstay of civilization in Chernarus. What I think the zombies would do is employ some sort of pack-mentality, traveling in groups of five or six, and upon spotting their prey would promptly dash to it from all sides, suprising and overwhelming their opponent. The current pathfinding makes zombies zigzag a lot when chasing players and in my opinion this should not be changed, as it would be a sort of defense mechanism to avoid being good targets, as on approach they are quite difficult to shoot. What I suggest is keeping this pathfinding, at least for these mini-hordes, and having them travel in small groups up to a half a dozen, searching on roads from city-to-city looking for players.

I am thinking that if it is a real problem with the developers, than I don't see a reason to keep it. I do like, however, the idea of selecting your own skins for use in game beforehand, like in the profile menu or some such, but that would be rather difficult I would think. And more on the skin, it's just a bullseye at the moment, during the day it clashes with brush color and makes it difficult to hide from people that are hunting you (Yes, there are bandit hunters) And there is always the "bandit" who was skin changed because he killed players in self-defense or other situations. All in all, I would like another way to tag people as PKers instead of bandits. I will think of another idea once I wake up tomarrow, I'm tired.
