Everything in the first few minutes is typical of this game. But you have to admit as far as the 2 shooter it's not worth the slots 1 slug takes up. Don't waste your time with it :).

Your character can back-pedal at running speed (or close to it). On more than one occasion when running from zombies have I turned around to shoot at the one or two on me without them hitting me. Sure you have. Because you can so accurately shoot while back stepping. Seriously bro. Troll in someone else's thread.

Absolutely. Happens to me all the time. I pick one up, the original doesn't ever appear. I've also lost items when changing backpacks. You would think you could click the one that you originally had on the ground and pull out what you wanted from the original. It's rare that I'm ever able to. I've lost morphine to this which got me killed.

I have no problem with servers that are set for 100% dark night, but be real folks. Yes, you can't see yourself and no you wouldn't create a character on one of these servers: ever. The only people that would really play on them is players with a collection of flares or NV that they picked up on another server. I don't care. Only reason I'm saying is because some of you are a little bit arrogant and asinine with your responses in this thread. Might want to just grow up a bit.

If you think bikes would make it easier to get around then I don't think you've been on one. They are more of a comedic "vehicle". They aren't really even meant to be used, in Arma 2 vanilla or the mod. Once you get caught on a bike by a zombie one time you'll see why they aren't useful. You going to ride one up and down hills to avoid towns? You definitely wouldn't. Don't see an issue with them being more common, but they are comedy. That's all.

This. Spawning without a weapon hurts no one for any reason. Only reason it would is if someone is spawn camping. They can just get banned. That's a non issue really.

Are you serious? First of all, nobody really cares if you play this mod or not. Second of all, kevlar/body armor is an actual, common facet of military life. In almost every country, soldiers wear body armor with their BDUs. There are three separate military bases in-game, so while body armor would be pretty damn rare, it would still definitely exist. Maybe a bit more common than a ghillie suit. If you don't get why we shouldn't have armor in this mod, then you obviously know nothing about it or the issues with the Arma 2 engine or DayZ itself. Add armor to this mod: the mod dies. Period.

An explanation for how you got it to work would be nice. :)

There are easy solutions to all of these things. It only takes implementation. It doesn't have to punish people to solve these issues. Punishing a player to solve an issue is not the solution nor ever the correct or acceptable one.

Arma 2 itself is beyond broken. DayZ just makes it even worse. The game isn't even playable it's so incredibly broken. I've nearly given up on it.
