The Arma 2 engine is a complete pile of shit apparently and obviously created by wannabe programmers. By far the worst engine I've ever seen. Shit happens when you play Arma 2. Never gets any less irritating. -

It's just a message someone decided to stick in to be annoying. Illegal copies don't "degrade" nor is it possible to play with an illegal copy.

This is a shoot on sight game. Just learn to deal with it. Get in a clan. Makes things a lot easier. But it also can make things too easy, which can take away from the fear/suspense of this game.

Modifying sound files should be against the rules. Any files really. If you want to modify something, make your own mod or modify vanilla Arma 2.

To have all those vehicles and weapons in those tents, you didn't even attempt to hide anything. You have everything right out in the open, on flat ground. Not attempts from what I can tell to hide things behind trees or in any way whatsoever. You aren't very attached to this massive camp you have. Save face all you want. If you shut the server down once or several times as the OP says, you were doing some pretty fishy stuff and are a pretty shady admin.

Nothing at Stary worth having. It will take you 3 hours of loot cycling to get anything decent and even then, it's not even some of the best gear available.

So I was just running around with an L85 AWS about 10-20 min ago. I log off for a bit to do some things online (check e-mail) etc and when I get back my L85 which was equipped in the slot, is gone and nothing is there. The STANAG ammo however is. The fuck?

I've been using it for 2 days. In other words, if you're a troll or don't know what you're talking about, go troll Pokemon forums where you belong. -

Anyone getting teleported to previous position?

I've been teleported to my previous position about 800m-2km repeatedly today since this morning, about a total of 10 times. While in vehicles and out. Anyone else having this issue? It is NOT lag, I am always at 30-50ms or so and no one in the clan on the server has reported this same issue. -

We know you are hacking and are able to see all of the vehicles on the map. You have killed multiple people within a second of each other with an AS50/FAL which is quite impossible. -

Nothing wrong with it IMO. Too much risk involved. I've spent hours in one place doing it. 1/2 the time you end up getting killed. -
Einfeld is about 12k dmg. Winchester is nowhere near that. Only thing that comes near Einfeld in damage is AS50 and M107 sniper rifles.

Not really. They seem to be improved now. But, I can't say whether they still exploit walls etc. I've gotten so good at avoiding them that I just don't notice the issues anymore. -

Who cares? Congrats, you popped your DayZ cherry. You're not longer a virgin. At least you sound like you just had sex for the first time. Big flippin' woohoo dude. Meanwhile in real life, I've jumped out of hundreds of aircraft, including helicopters (you know those things you try so hard to find in DayZ). You're incredible accomplishment has put me to so much shame.
