By the way, please read what I have typed earlier about there being 'no good spots for tents' before posting about it.

When did I say I never played Arma 2? I did have a go on Arma 2 for a while, however I disliked it personally so therefore I don't play it that often. I may go on it occasionally but only when I have literally nothing else to do. I'm sorry if I somehow offended you with me not knowing how the arma 2 engine handles without the DayZ mod.

I'm not saying there is a good place to hide a tent, I'm just saying people should at least try to hide them in better locations than in obvious locations

What I tend to do when I find tents is save them after I loot them, so the Hive doesn't dupe it accidently or on purpose and so the owners actually know they have been looted.

Or the render distance could be extended, but I don't think the arma 2 engine could handle it.

Basically, why is it that so many people hide tents in locations that they think will be super secret and no-one will ever go? Yeah, because no-one has EVER thought of hiding a tent on the edge of the map before. I must have found at least 20 tents on my regular server in a few days and have noted them all down so I can raid them often xD. My point is, hide your tents better people! You might want to stop 'hiding' them around the edge of the map as they are quite easy to find and it's so predictable.

Your blood regenerates naturally from your bone marrow, how do you think you got your blood in the first place if your body can't produce it naturally in some way xD

You could do that, but then you're risking server snipers camping the place out. Yes I know that it's a low chance that they will be there when you log in, but if you have watched the video of where sacriel's squad finds a bus and the whole squad who owns it log in at that very moment then you'll know and be very aware of the fact that that there is still a chance, no matter how low that chance is.

I suggest that you either hide it somewhere like you suggested and wait for some friends. That, or adapting on what someone else in this thread said, wait for someone to get in/near and if you have any explosives (satchel charges preferably) let them get in and become over-joyed at the fact they found a working huey! And blow it out of the sky after they pull off of the ground. xD (but that's if you don't want the helicopter anymore) P.S Have you checked the helicopter for goods? Go near the rear rotor and check if you haven't, they may have hid some goodies back there for you to enjoy.

Just a suggestion, but instead of just leaving unarmed survivors why don't you just point a gun in their face and ask for their beans? They get to live and you get a meal for the night. :P

Raiding an admin's base with my friend on an un-official server. One of the funniest moments I've had on DayZ as moments after we left they returned and the first thing I saw in the chat was "Wtf?". :lol: If you want me to I can supply video confirmation.

Hi everyone, I was playing some DayZ earlier and everything was fine, I then decided to get off for a bit and instead of clicking 'Abort' I clicked 'Respawn' and lost my character in an instant. My point being is that isn't there a way that you could add a respawn confirmation or something similar? Thanks for reading.
