As Rocket has stated this is an "experiment" maybe the experiment is coming to a conclusion. How long will people be good before when in a world of bad, they turn bad themselves?

Do's -When traveling in a group always carry at least 1 extra of each medical supply - If you have a vehicle, always have a spare tire in the vehicles inventory and a Jerry can - When in PvP hotspots do not fire your main weapon unless you are aiming at another player -Always make sure when you have a grenade, that it is not selected when you are trying to fire your weapon Dont's - Never run in front of your teammates line of fire - Never leave yourself in the open or without cover

All ViLAYER servers should be running DayZ 1.7.2.3 & Arma2OA 95054 since they are automatically updated.

As an Admin I can tell you we do not have any of those abilities. Stop spreading slander...

I raided 3 seperate camps on my server in the north, spend 2-3 hours running up hills and doing a 360 degree spotting pattern and its not that hard to find them in the north. final results were 3 camps, 2 vehicles, and a whole lot of mad players =P

Mine probably would be when 3 bandits were cruising about 200-250m out from the shore on a PBX and me and a buddy opened fire on them and I managed to headshot the guy in the middle and watch his body plunge into the water. The other 2 were injured but alive.

I would relog, then try it, if it doesn't work at that point try switching servers. Enjoy!

Hello, I'm Twin the admin of us200 and I have an idea inspired by a few posts on here that really got some people thinking. Like the radio and whatnot. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do so but hopefully after your done reading this post I will get some clarification from some member of the DayZ staff. Well, the plan at this point is to use my "powers" as an admin to use voice in Global chat and have it reading broken code coordinates. Once the code has been broken the coordinates lead to a suprise, be it a tent with good supplies or a vehicle I've fully repaired. But of coarse have traps along the way, a Few of my clan mates with the zombie skin and hatchets. Dispatch the zombies and collect your prize! If however I am not allowed to use the global chat channel I will most definetly set it up with our ventrillo to be a constant broadcast. Maybe even make up a unofficial backstory as to what DayZ is and just let people enjoy the story and try to learn why they are where they are. You know just a fun idea and I would love some feedback/ideas. Well, thank you for your time and input and I will keep up on this thread. Thank You! [COP] Twin

In the past 2 weeks, everyone I have encountered has Alt+F4. roughly in the mid 20's. Which is absurd now that you make me think of it.

As much as I am for voicing opinions and such, your a twat. If you do not like what Rocket is doing leave, no one will miss you, or care. It is the people like you in this community that we can deal without. It's Alpha, it's sandbox, its our world, our rules, and our failures. That's what this is. It is everyone of our stories, be they triumphant or tragic comedies. If you kept with the press you would know thier is a end game planned. And much more for when it gets an official release/standalone. And this is not an opinion, this is fact. The mod may die eventually but thats only to give birth from the ashes to a larger thing. Keep up the good work Rocket and Staff!

The ammo duping is a no no, he is now aware of that. The grenades were not an intentional expliot, but surely did help his situation. Get off your high and mighty horses and learn to relax, as you all seem to like to tell this guy. I enjoyed the video, keep at it and just try not to dupe any more ammo. Cheers, Twin

if you connect to the server on the muliplayer screen click the server control option. Put in your password,should be the same as your RCON and then you are the only one who can talk in global chat. I use global chat myself to give warning to shutdowns/restarts.

It's automatic, just update your server config file with the correct build and beta numbers.
