While you you all talking about apocalypse and so on. I am living in one, my entire 30+ years. Day to day is like living in hell. Zombie apocalyse ? Would give me a room to "breathe". Those people that went thru horror and back thru their years. Such apocalyse woud not touch them, mentaly or psychical (You dont have be to sry for me. I adapted and ill survive). I understand.... sometimes it's hard to accept where and how you live. My kit ? Dayz showed me new skills, which i didnt use before in real life. Sound and smell are one of those for real life. My survival skills brought to me from already small age, tnx to my cousins and family. I can fish all day long, without needing a pc, tv, phone etc.... I can track animals, skin them and so on :). Concetration of zombies would be several hundred in my area. Whole vilage has fences, vels and solid brick houses. We went thru wars, so we understand, what can happen.

16Gb. My 8gb is to low atm. Most of the games, that i play need 4-8 Gb alone and 2gb+ alone is windows reserved. Dayz needs 4gb (so, like 6gb+ togheter on your pc).

In my book (im here since start of dayz). Person that cry's about KOS, should be kos like 1k trilion times. No... wait.... put on shooting stand :D :beans: :thumbsup: . Die or survive trying. Way to many cry babys about loosing items and carebears...

There is almot no communication on these forums or weekly updates..... I "asume" something happened/broken.

Kudos for serius and constructive post. Regarding groups: - They are THE weakness in size. - More or less a lot of groups, are not organized. - You are one person. One invidual. Make that coun't. - Large groups against single skilled player are easy prey. - When you see 1-2 players, ALWAYS, i repeat ALWAYS start covering your flanks. If your not, your already dead. The most probaly cruisal thing in DayZ, either is that standalone or not. Adapt to the situation at hand within seconds or die. Me personaly and my friends, where kiling large groups alone. Becouse of some weakness written above. You are atm prey and did not raise up to the point of predator.

On private servers "OP" snipers where removed. Mosin is something like CZ550 in mod :)

If you are seen, your probaly dead already without you knowing that. Golden rule: 1st. few seconds gtfo out of spawn areas and head north (just drink fast at any well before you go).

Heat signature elaboration: - Red / a lot of player trafic. - Light yellow / medium player trafic. - None or green / Almost no player trafic. New players or just lone wolf wanting to survive for long periods of time: - Avoiding red zones. - Using green or less zones. ( i fully understand these two maps are for Arma 2 dayz mod. Good bandit does not go and kill noobs in elektro or cherno. I am bandit. I kos, doesnt matter if geared or not up north. I don't ask question, neither i pretend to be a good guy. Exception to the rule on my part since recent reddit topics, made me think about these poor noobs. They could use a skilled bandit to help them out a bit. We have a saying in my country: Don't be afraid of barking dog, becouse he will never bite. But be afraid to death of that dog that is silent. He will kill you instantly. In real life this is true.
