I dont know what point you're trying to get across. Do you want people to quit spamming the respawn button? Or do you want to modify the shock system. In either case if shock was altered as much as you want it to be the game wouldn't be much fun. Constant shaking when a zombie is next to you or when you get shot at. Really? As for the spam spawners, add a 5-10minute time restriction evertime they click that respawn button so they wouldn't be able to spam it. -1

-1 It would almost render the silenced weapons as 'regular' weapons but with an extra(ability to be silenced). The system is fine as it is.

Retention and expansion

I like your ideas and these are very relevant. Now it seems as though players who have acheived everything are finding the game less enjoyable. I think that Dayz should also impliment something to keep players going on even after they have all vehicles/weapons/clothing etc. Im not sure what, no ideas at the moment or I would have posted them xD +1 -
+1 barbed wire is becoming very annoying. If anything make it a rare spawn.

c-c-c-c-COD! Perhaps beartraps or maybe a hand made alarm system (tins + string) will give you an edge for opponents sneaking up on you. Remember, it's supposed to be a "realistic" zombie survival.

"raned"... lol You can get away from zombies, they already released an update. Once they lose line of sight they stop chasing you. -Ofcourse consider that this is still not a perfect system and still buggy, but you CAN get away from them. -
Realistic? Remove the ability to respawn.

Bad idea. The game is still in Alpha stages and there are obviously many bugs/glitches in the game. If you happened to spawn and get glitched then what? Respawn button is still needed, at least untill the game reaches further in development. I would suggest that the respawn button can only be pressed every 5-10minutes. This would stop respawns and still would compensate if you were to be glitched/bugged out. -
Yeah I saw your youtube video a while ago, good work man. Maybe also new zombies might be a cool new add! Just a question, would it slow down the gameplay noticeably? I mean 1 or 2 might not but over 500 zombies? Just wondering.

Lol, women should be in the kitchen! Nah all jokes aside, i guess you're right, but maybe the "picking the face type or hair colour" might take too long to respawn everytime... unless you can save it at the start and set it to default. But as you said, the game is still in Alpha and i'm sure they'll fix it up. Sam B got the thing that go bump in the night, who do you voodoo bitch! xD

1) I agree, zombie hordes should roam the map, would make the game more challenging. 2) You can already run away from them 3) No point, still as useless without ammo. 4) Don't agree, this game should be punishing. 5) Agree, a trading system if implimented correctly would be great for the game. Would improve player interaction, might stop killings even. 6) We have bottles, tin cans, smoke grenades to distract zeds. 7) Disagree, would make the game too unrealistic, wouldnt you say? Unless you found items such as body armour which could reduce damage taken? Items like that would be realistic. Good ideas. -

I think this post is a little over-the-top. I mean they're great ideas but if you strain everything into the tiniest thing it would be too much...effort. Although I do liek the ideas of the buildings infested with zeds. -
Yeah I think remove the respawn button or put a timer on, say for example if you pressed respawn you would have to wait a further 5-10minutes to press it again. This would remove the constant respawns and in the chance the player does bug out 5 mintues isn't that long to wait.

Your basically making this game into dead island. In dead island the zombies didnt run and they don't horde you as much compared to DayZ. Rocket was inspired by Dead Island AND Left 4 Dead... and left4dead uses guns only. So I believe he's trying to incorporate both games + his own preferance. I dont think removing weapons + ammo to the extent your saying would make the game better. -1 to this

I dont agree with the removal of the more power weapons in the game. I do however agree that they should be made very rare. Additional weapons added to the game (such as the crude weapons) would be a good change.

Stealthboy you're not very stealthy are you? Game is still in alpha that's why the glitches and bugs. My advice to you, run seeing as you said its very hard for you to shoot them ;) -
+1 for adding NPC's whether it's military soldiers or civilians. Good idea though.

I think the game need to find a balance. Obviously the revolver was too strong, the makarov lead to spawn killing and now that there are no guns I think its more balanced. Although within an hour or less you can gear up with some of the best weapons in the game. You suggestion with spawning with a weapon might be a good idea if, for example they reduced the spawn rate of military grade weapons or weapons in general therefore your starting weapon will be valued more highly and then it would be feasible to add it back in. But right now, its still pretty easy to gear up so no I don't believe they should add a starting weapon at the moment. *Note* this is still an Alpha, be patient with the game, they're still testing/making mistakes/adding things in etc.

This actually is a really interesting idea. If it was implemented it should be balanced (they don't have rare weapons often, not overpowered, should be a reason to attack them, respawn times etc). Also, maybe the zombies might attack them too? +1 I'm for an idea of implementing NPC's other than zombies/animals. Although this may be put in as an end-game thing.
