I already linked your video in the "No Devblog" thread in the news and announcements section because I thought it was great. Well done! :)

Would also be fun that in order to be able to put something on the quickbar the item require a way to attach or be small enough to fit in your pockets. For example a large pair of binoculars must be stored in the backpack and dug up every time unless you attach some string and hang it around your neck, then it becomes available for the quickbar. Or you could just find a pair of those small binocs that fits in your pockets. What is it you are skeptical about? That it looks messy or that it will be to easy to get out stuff "too quick"?

According to what Dean has posted the quickbar can be used to access anything anywhere in your inventory, it just takes different amount of time depending on where you store it (short time to reach something in your pockets, longer to dig it out your backpack).

I can remove car parts on their server. I am hacker? :o But yeah, I've played on lots of private hives and BB is the one I've stayed on, and even brought some friends to. Was a few weeks since I played though since my comp broke down.

How so?

One thing I notice with the WIP inventory is the lack of, in lack of a better term, cosmetic gear slots; like necklaces, earrings and other things to customize your avatar. And what about being able to wear a t-shirt, a tactical vest and then a jacket over all that? As in multiple gear slots for each "area" of the avatar. Thoughts? :) EDIT: Perhaps the squares won't even be there later and you drag and drop directly on the 3D model. I'm sure I remember we would be able to find one shoe only, and maybe find two different kinds and wear one on each foot, which is hard if there is only one slot!

Remember this for April Fools update, rocket.

For me it would be enough to just have the colors (red and green for example) be more washed out to fit the "DayZ style". Which probably is something that will be done.

I hope there will be a separate animation, removing the backpack, when you access the pack from the quickbar so it physically take more time :)

What about negative effects? Like having to remove a jacket if you are running around on a sunny day.

Rocket wrote on reddit that he is only using one type of zombie in the testing.

There is a reason I called a piece the "little bastard" a few pages back. :( I have spent quite some time with LDD now and as usual when I'm being creative I haven't finished a god damn thing. The challenge, as I think was stated earlier in this thread, is to build it like you would build it in real life; connecting pieces and so on so it would not fall over when finished. Combine that with the amount of pieces available and I spend more time testing stuff than actually building. Some day, though. :) EDIT: Oh, and hurry up with that petrol station. And a deer stand. Then make the rest, chop chop.

What I am looking forward to is when some entertaining bloke sets up his radio in a remote part of the map and starts broadcasting a show regularly; becoming an in-game celebrity. Much like how DR Wasteland pioneered the whole medic thing. EDIT: Updating players with info, spreading rumors, warning for hotspots. The eyes and ears of Chernarus!

That's the thing though; if it's handled right it could be great! I think I simply misunderstood the definition of "radio station" though and thought it meant you could stream any audio of your choosing in game. But even then not everyone will have a radio so it won't be like the annoying guys playing songs in side chat. All in all, I hope it will work.

I don't know... Much like how I opposed the idea of being able to draw or spraypaint stuff in the world (because dicks) I sadly think a way to break the fourth wall and "stream" stuff in game will be a vehicle for trolling. How will copyright be handled? How many seconds will it take before someone plays porn on their radio? Or the audio from a zombie movie to freak other players out? Maybe I would like the idea more if it worked like the user submitted books will work in the future where the community supplies the content, in this case songs and maybe even talk shows, which has to be approved by the devs or the rest of the community. EDIT: Or maybe I have misunderstood and "radio stations" will be supported stations by the game and not just anything. I hope!

I was just going to ask if that was a reference to something... like an avatar or something. :) It's a really cool picture either way!
