Title's a bit long: Will we get more realistic gun sounds and be able to hear shots at longer ranges ala Arma III? I would love to "see" - or rather hear - more realistic high quality gun sounds in the game. I think we've moved beyond the gimped sounds of CoD4 or BF2. Games such as BF:BC2 were CLOSE (with Wartapes enabled) but still had quite a way to go. ARMA III's sounds aren't perfect either, unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, they're good, better than DayZ, but not perfect. Also, this only applies to people who've played Arma III or have experienced Zoombies (basically DayZ ported to A3). Gunshots in A3 travel much further than they do in DayZ/Mod. It would be really awesome if the same sound system that A3 has was implemented. People who have played Arma 3 will know exactly what I'm talking about. Just simple request really. INB4 recording gun sounds in the desert is hard work T_T -

Sigh no. Remove Berezino spawns, remove military loot from shores and south. Fixed. Having spawns mid map would just make the map feel even smaller.

This has been destroyed by Berezino spawns and Military spawns on the shore. Unless those two things are removed, the north will remain desolate. Something I thik monkeys are making decisions on SA....

We need more community involvment! Official "Private" Servers?

Server hopping shitheads ruin the game. Not only are military spawns now on the coast - you know, cuz YOLO - but Billy-shit-for-brains can just swap servers and ger geared to the teeth and proceed to slauguter noobies. Main hive - cool idea, doesn't work. The faster we get private servers with ACTUAL ADMIN TOOLS (currently it's an absolute joke), the better for the game and the commumity. -
This mod shown in the video should be implemented ASAP. If you like playing 3rd person, FINE, but you can't cheat using it. It's an exploit through and through. Raoul made a very good picture explaining this, and I agree with him 100%.

The decrease in interest is only natural. The hype from the mod has pretty much died down now - hence why the developers made the most of it by releasing the early access when they did. I doubt that the Stand Alone will ever exceed the mod even when it is fully finished. Simply because of other games on the market and the lack of "novelty" as well as people simply not attracted to the hardcore survival element.

Or just implement the mod into the game. JSRS is an amazing mod and it baffles me why the default sounds haven't been replaced by it tbh. -

Old glitch from the mod, people used to do it to dupe the gear they had to gear up their friends.

The Resident Evil crows were OTT lol... I think flies are a good idea, but crows... not too sure. They would have to show like 5 minutes after the player is killed because otherwise other players will be immediately alerted to a dead player. Good idea though. -
Absolutely agree. Same thing that happend in the mod i.e run to redbricked houses ignore everything else. Now even though all buildings are enterable, people dont even bother because of high yield buildings. IMO there should be no "tiers" of buildings. All buildings should be low yield.
