yeah, but if you look at the DayZ as a zombie survival game, then there should really be no sniper rifle higher than the DMR/SVD/M24 - they should be super ultra extra rare by the way, the rangefinder, nvg, silenced weapons, AS50, M107, NVG FAL, L85AW AWS... I mean seriously the L85A2 AWS was the only good anti-bandit sniper weapon, that's what I used it for, as I'm sure did many other of fellow DayZ player :/

dude chill, server overload is a bitch we all know that. wait a couple of hours and it should be ok again, I know its fucking annoying, me and my mates were just bout to play but HIVE had other ideas... oh well :p

pro tip: do not put cammo on atm dude. I had this shit happen to me twice in 1.7.1.5 lost my GPS and some other shit :/

I honestly agree how it was the only anti-pvp sniper weapon... You only know what I'm talking about if you've actually used the L85 properly

Anti material guns as well as NVGs and rangefinders make as much sense as silenced and thermal weapons IMHO. remove that shit, every weapon should be unsilenced, if you shoot you should experience the consequences

Few questions about server and friends

Hmm yes you would have to pretty much say "Let's join UKxxx" or something along these lines, however with the DayZCommander - http://www.dayzcommander.com/ - you can have a friends list which I think allows you to join the server your friend's playing. it really is a great little program! P.S. It isn't a virus shit or anything just a game launcher like the six launcher y'a know -

Ok, so the heli crashes should have gotten adjusted, so what? The gun didn't have to go, or at least we could have been warned bout this :/ stealth patches suck IMO don't do 'em. P.S. I was using the L85 with the M4A1 CCO SD. And like someone else said, it was the only viable counter to snipers

M107 and AS50 don't belong in the game either, and I think all the guns should be iron sights only apart form a couple of snipers tbh. but lol im too crazy the fuck do i know

Fixed for ya :D yeah mate, I died to a server hopping scumbag <3 Lost my ghillie and m4 too so yeah :) I understand how the L85A2 might not have fit that well with the thermal shit, but yeah, the FOV on it was pretty atrocious and to be honest I mostly used it for scouting and not actually killing
