Aww you didnt read the small print on the hacking site now did you :( Some people have been wrongly accused by BattlEye and have had their accounts 'unbanned', you will need to contact Battleye to have your case heard. If it doesnt get reversed in a few days time then you have probably earnt the ban. On a side note and not targetting the OP specifically, but I have noticed that most people complaining about global bans have either 1 or 2 posts to their names or less than 10 in total. Just an observation :)

BattlEye have been reviewing their bans and reversing those that were wrongly assigned. If you still have your ban after a few days then Im guessing you deserve it. What to do next ?, well if you want to continue playing you will need to purchase a new key, there are quite a few forum threads on this already so I would suggest using the search function. To give you a tip though you will need to remove the old key from the registry. Im sure some hackers might pop on here to explain in more detail on how they changed their keys.

lol hackers become bandits due to humanity hits from hack deaths?, lol does this mean the bandit skin also flags potential hackers, lolol makes it even more of a reason to hunt them now, might be a chance to get some revenge on hackers;) Yes yes, I accept that not all bandits are hackers but it explains why I have seen so many people complain on the forums about having such a wickedly bad humanity, probably from their hacking dayz :).

Last night my friends and I were returning northwards from Electro. We had gone to the town as a group (1 x quad, 1 x minibus) and as usual tried to generally help people, we successfully gave an unarmed fresh spawn a lift to town, dropped off morphine to another and helped flip over a quadbike (we dont actually go into town, too dangerous, we ask those to come to the outer edge). We enjoy(ed) doing runs to help people, generally these have gone without a hitch, there is always the 'oh shit I hope they just dont open fire moments'. We were returning back north when two armed to the teeth ghillie clad bandits opened up on us as we were driving, within a few seconds they had killed 3 of us, I was coming in the top 3 on leaderboard, 340 ish kills, no murders, no bandit kills but I was pretty geared out, never got a chance to do anything, as I was driving I took a headshot bringing their murder count up to 4. (After respawning I passed them both as they were nearing Electro, im guessing they were on their way there to grief people when they saw us heading up the highway. I am still not sure why two fully geared bandits want to grief new people in Electro, why not head to Stary or the Airfield...) My daughter was now the only one left alive, bleeding badly and she managed to change to the drivers seat of the minibus and take the vehicle to safety. I didnt want to risk her character and the minibus to get our gear so I told her to abandon it. The minibus basically has some ammo, food and medical supplies however it makes getting places quickly a blessing so it was a priority to protect it. Our little group originally started out with 10, after last nights ambush 2 more people decided that it was enough and they rage quitted. I do hope they will come back but that now leaves our group with 4... we lost the quad bike but managed to keep the minibus so we are sorta still in action. Whoever those bandits were clocked up 4 more murders just from our group alone...

haha yeah, update to 1.7.2.5 but then join a 1.7.2.4 server, it will spawn you on the beach with all your gear.

LOL I have nothing to prove, however if you check the 1.7.2.5 rollout thread, someone has already posted a picture of the hero skin there, mine looks just the same as that.

Yep I have the new hero skin, its a white shirt with a kevlar jacket. My hat is also a grey/brown colour and I am wearing fingerless gloves. I also have a scarf around my neck.

Suck it up princess. You went about and slaughtered, now you get a chance to work hard to restore your humanity. Resetting it is an easy way out.

Nope, the respawn is like a suicide button. Only press this if you have broken legs and miles from anywhere. It is not to be used as a quick portal to the beach.

1.7.2.5 goes a long way to begin addressing this, they have re-introduced the bandit skins and also introduced a hero skin, your humanity will determine which skin you will wear however it does help by now showing people what sort of person you are, ie a bandit then perhaps shoot first ask questions later, but if you come across a hero there is a good chance he might help or least avoid you.

Nope, you were saved. That was a 'safety kick', you were kicked out of the game before something nasty happened to you. Relax, its a good thing. You can go back on the server but if you get that message again or Script #185 know that it saved your butt :)

Actually you will need Morphine, Epi-pens are used to bring back those that are unconscious.

The hero skin is awesome, work towards achieving this.

My apologies Limit87, I received a warning for my post so I accept that. It was not particularly directed at you but your post reminded me, it was actually meant to be funny but sometimes things can be taken out of context as well, written text can be hard. Please accept my apologies.

Im guessing the standalone might be using the new ARMA3 engine and if so then your woes are only going to get worse as this engine looks pretty sweet.

lol it means you have patched to 1.7.2.5 but playing on a 1.7.2.4 server. You are going to keep spawning on the beach everytime you log in until you understand this and move to a 1.7.2.5 server.

Yep, the Dayz mod came bundled with the ARMA2 addon :), this addon has map editors and even other mods you can play *gasp*. There is also a handy tutorial and boot camp that shows you all basic controls and movements of the game. Also an Armoury where you can practice driving, all weapons etc. I even used the armoury to improve my grenade throwing skills etc.

Forgive me if you know this already, but are you running this through Steam ?, if so then you NEED to copy the beta .exe from the beta folder to your OA folder. Sounds confusing ?, there are many posts already on how to do this so use the search function at top. If you are not using Steam then I cannot help you.

All good, I think the autoupdate is not enabled yet until Rocket is happy to proceed, at this stage you need to manually update and do so at your own risk. Once you do update, DO NOT play on a 1.7.2.4 server.

Hang in there, have not been hacked on a 1.7.2.5 server yet *fingers crossed* and BattlEye is now stating that over 12000 accounts have been banned, things are starting to improve.

Am absolutely loving the humanity being back in the game. Yes, if you are a bandit then expect no mercy from me as its now payback time. On the bright side, I have encountered many friendly people now, even in Cherno/Electro, its nearly back to the early days.. did I say Im loving It ?! :)

Err Stevo, re-read my post. I said you need to update your game first, then the respawn button will work. Not sure how I can explain this more clearer.
