Your setup should run it fine, I have two pcs here with less specs than that and they run fine. I would suggest searching this forum for 'arma2 optimisations' , as I have already posted a couple of threads on this already. If you are still lost then respond and I will help you.

Are you logging out within 5 minutes of picking up these weapons? There seems to be a bit of lag when you get new gear and when it actually saves and if you quit out before this then you lose it. Its happening to us a lot, its not limited to weapons, a classic one last night was with 2 x jerry cans, filled up car, put cans in boot, then she got DC'd due to ping timeout (happens to us often due to 4 peeps playing on one connection) and when she logged in, she has the cans still and they are full. Sometimes this 'glitch' can benefit you... My advice to all, when obtaining something new, stay online a bit to ensure it syncs and saves. The forums are full of peeps complaining they just looted something AWESOME from a pvp kill only to log back on and its gone, you know why ??, its cause in most cases they killed and logged quickly to avoid retribution from someone else, didnt allow enough time to save gear and wham, lost it. EDIT: LOL good question maxipads :)

Yep, we found and lost 2 x ATVs tonight, both flipped going over bridges, we were able to get one upright and drive on but lost it to the next bridge. Both of these bridges are between Electro and Solnichy.

Head to Cherno/Electro and yell 'Friendly' , that will bring out all the bandits for ya.

Its at your end mate, check to make sure your ISP is not experiencing any issues. Failing that then kick your router/modem in the guts and try again. EDIT: Forgive the aussie slang, I meant to reboot your router and try again.

2 x bandits, 1 x cupp. Hmm if you were banned it would say you were banned when you try to log in, so unless the admin is watching and waiting for you to manually boot you then I think its your ping that might be exceeding server limit? Im not sure an admin would risking banning you etc over a double barrel shotgun??

Hmm dayzwiki is saying the revolver will kill in 2 body shots and a m1911 will kill in 3 body shots. Is dayswiki wrong or the spreadsheet?, I guess I need to log in and test it out )

You need a toolbox to put tyres on though I believe.

So to put it into perspective, a zombie has 4000 health ?, so 3 x shots with a 1911 should do the trick ? And yes, you have my beans for your effort :)

Well you could simply use the filter to see if your servers are there but out of ping range. Perhaps they are down for patching as well.

I agree, I think bandit skins should be brought back in. However given that I have also accidentally murdered someone then I think there needs to be a bit of tolerance, perhaps a bandit skin is is applied once you perform a certain number of murders, it could be as low as 2 or around 5. This way you wont be automatically flagged a bandit by accidentally killing someone. (remember by story about my bro killing me with an axe by mistake).

Stop server hopping. Allow the server time to actually save your gear etc.

Hi All, Something very weird just happened to my Nephew and me on the AU1 server about 12:45 am. We had just raided the NE airfield and I scored myself a nice gun, M4 somethingorother CCO and lots of ammo. We had just left there and headed SW to the town and entered a barn when my nephew (this is his 2nd night playing dayz) exclaims that he has a saw m249 gun (something like that) and I said 'how' ???, he said it was on the ground. It took a bit to understand what he was saying and more to the point where he had got it from. Then he says 'i have a ghillie suit as well'. Ok, by now I know this is not normal and I start saying 'did you let any friends look at your game' or anything, I was trying to find out if he had been hacked, he stated categorically no noone had looked at his machine. It was only then that I checked my inventory, I too had a ghillie suit, a Saw and a GOLD revolver ???, I have never seen a gold revolver and I never picked up any of these ???, it turns out he had the same loot. The other strange part is that my gun still looked like the M4, but when I looked in gear it said saw ??, also my backpack appeared to have dissappeared. I tried immediately exiting out and back in to see if this fixed it but alas it did not ??, I have not equiped anything or dropped or changed anything in the hope that it will go away. I have now logged off. I would like to strongly say that I have no idea how this happened, why it happened to us both at the same time (it could have affected everyone I guess, I have no way of knowing as I cannot chat). I did try asking if an admin was on using the group channel but I got no response. I do not wish to be banned or for him to be banned over this. There must be a rational explanation, I hope all is fixed when I log in tomorrow afternoon.

Hmm Im still a bit concerned, I just logged in before to see if I was still bugged and yes, I am. If I drop the gear and it redupes back into my inventory then this surely will flag something somewhere, I really do not want to get into trouble over this. Wargunner, are you still bugged ?

I thought it was obvious with the amount of bandits, Im thinking the average age of a bandit is 12, and no im not referring to those accidental or self defense bandits, im talking those kids that sit in Cherno/Electro with a gun and shoot people cause they can.

Hang in there Solar, I am hanging out to see what changes are introduced to reduce the bloodshed and bring back comraderie into the game. Bring back the bandit skins !!!

I have clocked up nearly 200 hours playing this game so far and I have yet to see one antibiotics, I even thought they have must have removed it. Not sure what the go is. We normally raid hospitals once a week to stock up on blood bags too.

If you hit the P key it will show a list of connected players. Also that error message simply means James did not launch correctly and forgot to add the Dayz files -mod shortcut. You might have been very lucky to not see anyone ?

Hmm let me have a look, where did you park it exactly and I will check it out ? ::) I believe www.dayzwiki.com will tell you how much each vehicle (and tent) can hold.

Hmm I would suggest using and launching through Six-Launcher until you get the bugs ironed out. Six-launcher will beta patch your game and install the necessary dayz files as well.
