    DE 901 - Admin hacker?

    Wow, people are d#cks.
  3. First off, WarZ is isn't what one would call competition :P But to answer your question: Yes, it will definitely survive. You don't go from having over one million players to nothing. Your question should rather be if it will be as successfull as the mod itself. Although i highly doubt it, it really just depends on what Rocket does with the game. If he creates a ton of new interesting content, it might just spark yet another DayZ hype. Only time will tell.
  4. God I love this argument. "Why do you want the game to have like... authentic gamefeel... when like U don't want to like include every aspect of real life?!" Friggin seriously.

    Cars not saving

Uhm, next time consider googling the issue before doing silly things :P
  6. " * [uPDATED] - Updated infection chance during zed attacks from 1/1000 to 1/50." Wow... I wouldn't mind this if it wasn't for the glitchy animations of the zombies.

    NVG and AWS Weapon(S).

Remove night vision and thermals imo. ESPECIALLY the thermals.

    What Luck.

I find this happening a lot when it comes to vehicle parts. I always find the parts I don't need.

    WHERE'S MY GEAR!?

You deserved it. Go cry in a corner.
  10. Walking around looking out for poo? Sounds... like a rich experience.
  11. It's originaly a military simulator. It's suposed to feel authentic. That's why.

    Once you get the standalone

I'll probably start out looking for weird glitches by crawling through doorways, walk on rocks. You know, live life on the edge.

    Whats the point?

This is rather worrying to be honest. I have some serious BSOD issues with my PC. I have yet to crash in combat, but I'm not exactly looking forward to the day it happends. How hard is it to implement a system that keeps your character around for 20 seconds after quiting (like in World of Warcraft for example)?
  14. With more focus on survival (FANTASTIC), and the punishment for dying increasing, there needs to be more motivation for cooperation. If two strangers meet eachother in-game, one of them are going to get killed. It's uninteresting, it kills the immersion, and to be perfectly honest it's starting to get rather boring camping out in the woods, avoiding every soul I see.
  15. Gabe Newell plays DayZ! HL3 CONFIRMED
  16. This is absolutely not true, and I easily stand by what I said. There would without a doubt be lots of killing, but it wouldn't be nearly as common as it is in DayZ. Do not think that once humans get a gun in their hand, they'll run around shooting every damn soul they can find. We're "slightly" more complicated than that.
  17. What you don't seem to understand is that while there most definitely would be killing, it wouldn't be anywhere near as common as it is now. How many players kill for food and supplies? Hardly any. Most players kill because they grow bored with the game, or grow paranoid of said players and shoot in self defense. The problem is that when pvp reaches a point where it's just a massive f#ckfest, where people hunt eachother for sport, it ends up ruining other RP elements of the game. With social interaction being bordeline suicide, it limits the games potential of being this deep roleplaying experience which Rocket is trying so hard to achieve. But surely you can't possibly believe that the current state of Dayz is anywhere near an accurate representation of an actuall end of the world situation?
  18. This is why I just avoid trying to get rare items.
