Why is practically every gun mentioned a western gun...?

this And what would stop someone from shooting at you just to be sure...the zeds might not be that "intelligent" meaning they might not have been scripted to ignore players playing dead or in fact they will smell that you are still alive. In OFP lying down, placing your weapon next to you and playing dead did work because you could "bury" your head into the ground, i even got quite a few kills thanks to that. In ArmA the character stil has his head upright even if you look down when lying. So that won't work unless they do somethign about it.

They can actually look at themselves in the start menu from what i've seen in rockets video blog...there is no real reason to keep 3P anymore imo.

The ocean in ArmA 2 just ist vast enough...imagine 500 players having the same idea and 50 logging in simultaniously almost falling off their boat due to shock because they spawned next to eachother...

Can you adjust the sound IRL? Imo there should be only two sliders...one for the audio effects and the other one for the radio channel. Having to restart each time you change the gamma or brightness will stop abuse lol :D

Well it wouldn't stop players from mounting every weapon they find on it until they capsize wouldn't they? Years of playing don't make me think much different. It's always the biggest handgun, the biggest rifle, the biggest car, the biggest tank, the biggest helicopter, the biggest plane, the biggest dick, the biggest ship, the biggest intercontinental missile...If Utes was that far away which it would make sense. Utes does have streets, what i wouldn't understand if they take the island 1:1 with the airfield on it because there are already lot's of airfields on Chernarus and financially a rural country would have a difficult time maintaining expensive facilities.

Use whatever is common logical in a soviet state. I don't want any fancy 0815 .445 .455 or whatever that was not there in the first place like the gun in the quote.

Having to replace tires like in the early version of Wasteland or needing time to replace part would be funny. There is nothing more to hate than instant repair... I want to see someone making a apocalyptic tuning...even nowadays a lot of amateur tuners blow their engines up with such kind of stuff. :lol: Nothing against tuning but tuning would be the last thing i would do when survival is the most important.

Then riding on a motorcycle would also affect your health...since i didn't get sick while riding on my motorcycle, in fact i felt better when i got off this idea has to be rethought imo. A missing windscreen would slow down a vehicle, it's a huge wind trap. It could potentially destabilize the vehicle sind the aerodynamics is disrupted severely.

Well considering how the Admins care so much that topics stay on topic...yeah he has played a leaked version...but who knows who might have leaked it? Maybe the devs themselves or the devs or maybe they should have checked their testers better...? What's on the internet is public and nobody can stop it. So don't criminalize people if you don't know the exact truth. Oh yes the whole ArmA league also played a leaked ArmA 1 Alpha version afaik it was even in the forums lol...guess who was part of it...? And even after those players told BIS where they could tweak the game they still released a buggy version scaring away potential players... -

I have also noticed that ArmA 3 blurs a lot of textures which you don't see at first glance but are noticable if you play a while. It's such a difference to me that if i would place a vehicle the same distance in ArmA 2 and ArmA 3 i wouldn't be able to see the vehicle in ArmA 3 that good or not at all. The practice of dumping details is already old, that's why you can still play new games on year old consoles and think it's state of the art but compared to the PC as platform far from good. I tried replicating the same conditions for ArmA 2 as well and had a huge performance boost with of course server fps related problems which i cannot control. All in all the frames were more stable in the big towns at the cost of quality of course. It's a bit more difficult to spot targets far away and close up you see the textures like the markings on the roads and the edges quit blurry. But it's not as bad as it is in ArmA 3. -
Yep, i dont wan't a ton of missions where people make the game like they want tomake it easier and not how it should be played...omg we are beeing forced to play the game the way rocket wants....!!!! :rolleyes: Keeping a lock on mission design also keeps key theft and hacking at bay. I heard a couple of players got their keys stolen because they downloaded alternative DayZ missions...

Too small to rural to remote to be that infested with military bases. I'd rather have a 50x50km map will a lot of what was suggested. Sahrani felt large even if the land mass was actually small ( half desert half woodland ) and it had two remote islands. That was a hell of an island, i wonder why the player base hated it. -

Not the game for you??? The basic AI they have is one of the dumbest you can have. If they were really "intelligent" they would flank you while you are beeing fooled by a smaller number of zeds in front of you and you would never hear the pack coming. To running in buildings what would stop zombies from running in buildings? Having them moving slow would be unrealistic in the first place... -
my best bet is that the current system in ArmA is because the AI would always try to drive as fast as they want and more than often enough slide off the road if you had the cars "unleashed". The leash is kind of cheap imo which is drag depending on the surface and less motor output the more you turn your wheel out of center and of course there would be no damage script when you drove too fast off road which would normally destroy a street cars suspension and to some extent even cars equipped for difficult terrain. Even driving on a dry field in a normal car would get you stuck pretty fast. I don't think they might be able to make this possible in game but hope is the last to die.

Why not? I would have a battle ship for the amount of time i've been alive and the DM kiddies that stay in Cherno and Elektro and die every 5 seconds because of beeing there would get an ass whooping from me. Help other survivors for once instead of hunting them on the beaches and at loot hotspots...

In that case it's virtually the same: no cars = no driving / a few cars, a few spare parts, lots of fuel = some driving / lots of cars, some fuel = some driving... There are only so many parts on a server...even with 500 cars you can only make a minimum amount drivable.
