We got our revenge another day. Now we have a to kill list of players we have to find every time they join the server.

Well something similar happaned to a friend after he tried to trust other players more since a couple of them tried to cooperate with other players on the server. Since i knew which server most of those players came from ( a KoS server ) i had my doubts about them and kept my distance and never showed my back ( always got in last and got out first and was always to be found in the back of the group ). When the group started to get bigger 4+ i took my leave. He didn't and was "shot by accident" twice. At least he learned his lesson not to trust other players 100% unless they are in the same ts channel although there were exceptions. And i never died through another player yet and killed a bandit so far, only died from my own stupidity ( accident or glitch )

When i shoot or witness the death of a combat logger on a private hive, the most stupid thing to do. I shot one in the back then he went unconsious ( ... is losing connection ) what gives. Loggin back in ( ty player list ) only to get kicked due to create vehicle restriction #1, next attempt losing connection, last attempt stood up *bang* dead. Second one was not better...tried to start his heli, i shot the rotor and engine. he ran away. ran back ( prolly with spare parts ) shot at him but it was too far with a holo sight. He ran away only to lose connection in a hangar. Multiple failed attempts ( losing connection x4 or so ) later my buddy decided to look for spare parts for the heli and found his avatar standing in a hangar during the logout timer...and shot him...

2000€ and even with that amount of money your frames will drop. I have a reasonable frames when playing and it usually drops into the 30s when i visit bigger towns. What bugs me though is that 50fps doesn't feel like 50fps at all like in other games. It's not stuttering or so it's like you trying to play another game on a pc with "recommended specs".

I've caught myself using a crossbow if i happen to find enough ammo for it ( i love the quiver ) and of course when i don't expect to run into triggerhappy KoSers like the one time this freshspawn tried to shoot me with the last shot out of his silenced makarov. I could have gone after him with my browning hp but what for? That guy only had balls to shoot a player who just shot a zombie and was reloading his crossbow while crouching and missed..not worth the sprint. It would sure be a lot more fun if the spawn rates of shotguns, pistols and semi or bolt action rifles was much higher than those of military guns. I mostly see players running to those sites even before thinking of getting some food, shows their gaming priority. Yesterday was the first time ever that i found a CZ550 (!!!!) that's how rare this shit is compared to how often i stumbled over tons of assault rifles ( didn't need it, close and personal gives a potential target less time to combat log :lol: )

Why so? In theory you have a new life so why not start at zero like everything else does?

I don't know about that....there is only one person i know off in my street who owns firearms, the other guys ( an acquaintance ) dad had a shotgun and maybe another rifle and a couple of handguns but no crossbow, the last guy i know of is a weapon fanatic who loves to collect replicas and stuff like that. Neither of them has a crossbow...the guys with real firearms are hunters. Oh yeah and neither of my colleagues nor others acquaintances owns a crossbow either...that would be a lot of people...one or two might own an air rifle or pistol. Must be common where you live if you say so. About crossbow attachments..i wonder how much it would help if you mounted a 8x scope on it...that thing is only good to 50-75m accurately right? Most hunters who hunt at that distance use sights like holo sights or other "open" aimpoint devices because they can acquire their target faster.

If the chance of getting a heli up and running would be significantly lower than getting a car running the game would be totally different, there is too much stuff spawning around and the respawn intervals are too close. Spawn probabilty doesn't mean anything if you have tons of normally hard to get stuff upon server start and if they spawn too often until the next restart. With servers restarting every 3-4 hours item respawns at start and in the middle should be more than plenty. I dare a EU server admin to test this kind of respawn or a once upon restart and no new item spawn, i'd be willing to come and play. Same with TS...it would be fair to approach someone instead of beeing an ass and always wanting every bit of advantage. We don't have implanted com systems so nobody should be mute when communicating...or do we already have them and i didn't notice yet?

Even then it shouldn't be zeroed since they usually zero a sight to a specific weapon under normal circumstances.

Sure you don't want "auto-aim", too? Or even "auto-shoot"? I mean it's bothersome having to press the button you know? I guess they have to make an "auto-game" for you...just press the on button on your PC... but i bet you don't want to to that either? :lol:

They are either surplus variants from former soviet states, assembles in the states from parts or most likely made in the usa under license. Every major weapon manufacturer has a big factory in the states.

How about pink tiger stripe or polka dots? If you get bored by the available attachments you shouldnt play any type of game because you will always be disappointed.

Don't forget Chernarus is a country where you can't order everything from amazon...if i lived there under those conditions i would have something more important to do with my money that buying luxury goods.

If you hold that in front of your chest like you would carry a vest and let someone hit it with the same amount of energy it can break your ribs, don't underestimate energy transfer. All the energy is transfered into what's behind it or it fails ( which i think will happen ) your day will turn from bad to worse. The chances for it to stop a .22 are not pretty high imo.

You know that once a bullet leaves the barrel it can only lose speed? Only rockets gain speed after a certain distance. Like a gyrojet pistol f.e. you can stop the projectile at the muzzle but at it's maximum speed let's say 20m as a random number it will hurt you pretty bad and after that it will lose speed again because it ran out of propellant.

I want BIS to redevelop the game and make it like this since weapons will be quite rare. Have it like ACRE but in case of the SA let the SA detect third party software and install the necessary file ( in ACREs case a plugin file into TS which has to be placed by the user that's why i asked for an idiot safe system because i know what can happen when you have a group set up ACRE ) into the program or let them link it ( how they do it is their problem ). Hobby programers developed tools to start a game with mods and even teamspeak with one press of a button it would be a shame...actually it's a shame they can't do things 100%, the only game they finished was OFP with the last beta patch, ArmA 1 is solala ArmA 2 is still "bugging" them and i don't want to talk about the condition of ArmA 3. I'm pretty sure what is considered exotic among AK fans in the US ( AK and derivatives, SKS, SVD, VEPR etc. ) is standard merchandise in the former soviet states. Maybe there are western guns but not for the "commoners" among the gun owners. Pistols are different since they are not under strict regulations like military or military based firearms like f.e. the AR platform beeing manufactured by hundreds of companies all over the states. I think with a list like this ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Russian_weaponry ) people would not be asking for a lot of foreign weapons since unlike the us citizen who treats his Armalite like a barbie doll the russian thinks of the weapon as a tool. Of course most weapons in this list are off limits to civilians but like in every country there is a black market.

First they should learn how to walk before they try to run...

That's why i said before that the devs have to make DayZ detect every type of voip program players use nowadays and make them connect to the game.
