A lot of players use camo equipment the wrong way. I was standing next to a bush with civ clothes and one fix passed me about 10m. He saw a dot turned to me but didn't see me. I shot him and got ghosted by his buddy 10 mins. later.

Those would be the bullies who would also not stay alive that long to bully someone because the ones who just want to survive would deal with them. This of course only works very limited on a public server where players can drop in and out as they wish but not on a private hive...which i hope will be plenty when the game gets better.

Have you seen that most of the doors are not closed and maybe windows are missing in certain buildings... And look at the avg temp in moscow http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_Moscow you can imagine how cold it can become when you are in the russian backwoods.

So food and drinks are nothing of interest to you??? I have 90% of my space packed with supplies for idiot teammates who pack their packs full of ammo and weapons and forget the most basic yet important thing...they can't survive on bullets.

You should move to a safer place and/or change your acquaintances if that "always" happens in your neighborhood...srsly. If RL was so we would have 99% of the people living in prisons or the remaining 1% surrounding themselves with veeeery thick walls. It's because it's a fucking game that people behave that way. If you were actually living in a hell like situation like DayZ a lot of those KoSers would shit their pants and be happy to actually find another living beeing that isn't after their life 24/7 to have some safety.

You should nee an entrenching tool not only to bury items but also players and it should only work on the right surface ( not on compressed surfaces or concrete ). It should just look like a little mound depending on the size of the item you place of which a player would create the largest one.

That's true....it really sucks that they can't control of the clipping although sometimes it seems to work. I've been hit by zeds often enough who appeared to be ignoring me indoors and walking upstairs or past me and the moment i turn around *bamm* i got one standing behind me. Either it's lag or what but somehow zeds seem to be able of "bursts" in certain buildings. Well if you see the video there is already plenty of testing going on so even if you don't get to see a rifle for the whole period of the alpha there are 999 other players that have...so testing is going on and we all know what that kind of testing is... ( KoS anyone? ) Also cuffing and force feeding seem to work just fine...so much for the kindergarden bullying part.

Not only increase...the effects of getting hit should be more drastic so everyone running around in a town seeing another player who also runs from zeds and stops to shoot him while zeds follow both should "feel" his mistake by getting distracted by a player although his life is more in danger by the zeds.

Proof that no tool will help unless your system has some hidden potential or if it's already at it's limit.

Excessive overclocking sometimes or maybe even often doesn't bring any performance boost, they run even worse if the system doesn't run stable due to overclocking. Doesn't have to be with any program but there are some programs such as ArmA which is very bitchy, a buddy overclocked his system and got some negative results when playing ArmA. An i7 should have enough power in standard clock unless you want to calculate a rocket trajectory to the moon. Only because you got 10k more points on 3D mark doesn't mean it will be noticable in practice. A quick loading SSD will make the game feel more fluid, you will notice the difference maybe even more than overclocking a CPU by 10%. And it does affect the fps a bit if your hdd makes your game "stutter".

DayZ is supposed to be just that. If players wouldn't abuse server switching they wouldn't have gotten used to abundant ressources >>> they would know how to play the hard game. That is still too much imo... And afaik they intend to let loot respawn but not at a set time or and/or with a player as a trigger

So basically a lot of players don't benefit from this update...if players with decent rigs ( let's say up to date technology wise and/or not older than 5y and/or in the 750€ range ) get 10-20fps then the rest will get like nothing? Too many scripts, too many clients, bad scripts, low tech server...? Bad scripts can also cause a lot of desyncs.

Judging from the age of the 1st post i assume he already found out there is no such no pvp server.

I know what you went through. My old team had the same teamwork, just a bit better though.

Don't compare a 1km2 battlefield with a 100km2 one... BF is all effects anyway.

They will optimize by removing grass, shadows, clouds and reduce the resolution to 800x600x16...that will improve fps significantly.

That's the only way for them to roleplay. Offer them complete freedom to choose what they want to be and they choose to be an asshole.

Well under normal circumstances you would be happy to have someone well geared and experienced with you. The game is just about shooting others for most of the players anyway...

Bad PC low settings no SSD...one of those or all of those. Still good enough to show how badass he is against an unarmed.
