And it's just the plates that stop the bullets, without those they are worth nothing unless the enemy uses sticks and stones...ok it will stop pistol rounds...it's basically just your average kevlar vest without plates.

I never go to Cherno or Elektro if i already have what i need. Berezino is a good place to get what you can get in the south with a lot less risk.

The majority of the player base only knows Balota, NWAF, Stary and maybe Novy with a small chance and of course Cherno and Elektro. The rest of their map is pure white...

You still have the recoil tube making it only maybe 5cm shorter when you remove the stock. This would only make it easier to fit it in a pack...IRL.

What? Like homogeneous tin armor plate?? That stuff weighs a ton it's better to be fast and light. Casting bullet's might be a better idea but you really need some temperature to melt steel and a campfire won't suffice, that's not lead we are talking about. And tin cans are not made out of tin. If they would actually add weight and stamina people would think if they need stuff and not just gear up for the sake of gearing up...

If you want to eliminate KoS remove everything that can be used to kill eachother...or play Tetris. But even then would players try to kill eachother by dropping the blocks on top of their heads if it was possible.

You forgot... 3 - you killed him and now a horde of zombies is after you... Killing doesn't change...it's still done with weapons that just look different...

What he says is legit. You should be able to find knives or let's say kitchenware in almost every civilian house. You can't use every knife to open a can though or at least it will take long and there would be a chance for it to break it and/or cut yourself. And spilling food just because you didn't open the can with a proper can opener is also kind of gamey and stupid. You can pretty much open a can just fine, just be careful and it just takes longer. I doubt anyone would take every knife. They would rather look for guns in a DayZ players case...

If water physics was real i think almost every pistol round, shotgun slug and the winchester slugs would be the only weapons that would still hit you if they are slow enough. Their speed is what stops the bullets if they are not destroyed by the force of the impact first. Everyone who landed flat on the water knows that it feels like you just hit a concrete floor.

That whole i wanted to be a hero that a bandit hyprocracy is getting kind of lame....there is no real bandit in game, just KoSers or bullies who forcefeed others, i wonder when they are going to implement rape ( and of course buttrape for the guys ) and BDSM... In your case shooting back was justified, those guys had the chance to fake it but decided to draw when they were at a disadvantage.

Do you mean he drank desinfectant instead of soda or you drank mixed soda with desinfectant without traces of the can beeing tampered with? If it was possible to poison canned food and drinks without giving the other player a chance to see that it has been opened that would be incredibly stupid and not thought through on BIS side.

Are you seriosly thinking a piece of soft tin can protect you even from a melee attack? You can stab through a can if you apply enough force.

1st i would call the game WarZ because other than the engine i don#t see much difference at the moment and probably not much when it's finished. 2nd If a player does some unwanted movements it definatel has nothing to do with the in game animation nor the keyboard layout because obviously the player is either too stupid to memorize 10 important buttons or too lazy to create their own. 3rd New engine or not unless they completely change their animations or connected animations nothing will change. They would have to do a lot from scratch and that would delay the release by another 3 years considering they just managed to add a handful things after a year of development where they claimed to have achieved a lot more. But i do agree that the scroll menu is pretty stupid and overloaded because if there has to be a menu i would just add things that are in the immediate vicinity of the player and remove all unneccesary things such as an extra reload command or whatever is in the scroll menu. It's a hassle if you are standing in front of a door and trying to get the open /close door menu to pop up only the scroll to reload because you slightly looked a pixel to the left.

Why do you have to carry an army supply of ammo...?

Why didn't they get rid of the scroll menu a long time ago? We have a ton of hotkeys.
