Everything in the game makes no sense like your M4s instead of AKs...

And using a helicopter for a trip of 5km in each direction from the middle of the map doesn't make sense and is a waste of fuel and i hope they make jet fuel veeeery rare. Not that you couldn't use the fuel to power your car or truck...if it had a turbine of course. If we had to cover distances like over 50km one way it would make more sense.

We need volume and weight just like in A.C.E. then you won't need inventory slots. Your pocket either has the size to fit the item or it doesn't. I couldn't pack a machine gun, a sniper rifle and a rocket launcher in my pack when i was playing A.C.E. and we were always told not to carry more than 35kg of gear if we didn't want to collapse because a lot of players didn't know better and ran all the time.

I agree but if you look closely into military history stuff you need the most is often on the other side of the world :lol: Exactly...we already have tons of those games if you really want to play war and haul military gear there is always Cold War Crisis, ArmA 1,2 and 3...and did i already mention CoD, BF and a lot of other games that don't have zombies in them in normal mode? ( <--- just wanted to make sure nobody throws in "BUT COD HAS ZOMBIES YADA YADA YADA..." )

And the reasoning why you want the weapons would be? Just asking...because only the 1911 has a background that justifies it beeing there as old gun packed somewhere in a box or in a nightstand if the owner still gets ammo for it because i'm pretty sure .45 ACP isn't a common round over there. Only because a government is pro western doesn't mean they want to use western equipment either because of pride or in most cases... the cost. Finland or Poland are a good example of mixing western and eastern equipment. Doesn't matter...the AK is classified as a weapon of mass destruction...seems to be able to hit it's target.

Yep sounds reasobable...once i read the manuals i could easily fly the A-10 over A'stan and kick some Talibear ass...when i got bored i read the manual for the AH-64....and because they blew a hole in my wing i read a repair manual and patched up the wing with a stapler and some chewing gum in mid air...

If you are bored you are playing the wrong game.And who will pay for the rights to add the books into the game...who will make the models...you perhaps? Just grab a real book or mastrubate while waiting for your bambi. Why do you people always ask unreasonable things when you can do it IRL...

I don't know if someone would really run around in with a riot shield ( ~ 3kg ) or in your case a ballistic shield ( 5-10kg ) in a zombie apocalypse where that thing would just slow you down and use a lot of space you could use for more important gear. It's not like you are constantly in danger of beeing shot at like the people who have to use them, it makes you a slow and easy to hit target although they won't get through that easily you can't just sprint to the next cover and they are not that big to cover your entire body ( see below ). You watch too many hollywood movies or play too many reality warping video games...those are not things you haul around 24/7 anyway, you roll them ( second pic ). Not that they shouldn't exist but i would be the last one to carry such a thing around because i'd rather have a backpack of supplies than armor in front of me because i'm not playing the game as if it was a war simulator. In fact there are variants that stop armor piercing rifle rounds ( i'm pretty sure not .50 ) but as i stated above with around 10kg or more it's not something you just strap around your arm to defend yourself.

That could also be the problem why rocket likes to put western weapons into the wrong environment...i'm not against giving the western fanboys a weapon or two but i hope this westernization stays wihin realistic limits.

Where would you find lose ammo components? There is no ammo factory in Chernarus afaik. Even if you found ammo i'm pretty sure in a country with scrict gun laws you would rather find people hand loading ammo that is suited for hunting ( shotgun shells or CZ ammo f.e. ) and not military calibers ( we are not in the USA where you can buy it at walmart and afaik Russia doesn't have a Wалмарт yet ). They are as illogical as a flood of M4 and parts atm although not impossible but as we are right now we have a lot of ammo spawning ( you can blame the "alpha" and "testing" for that i know ). But ask first if UPZ actually ships to an infested zone. ^_^

Let's hope so, i also want something to do than hide under a tree all day :lol: If they keep adding those neat features like heart attacks, illness and actually having to take a rest players have to think about spending all day outside or on top of a hill...

The military doesn't let their people carry armor 24/7 not even in a hotzone. Even if he added "undead" zombies you should still be able to take out their limbs with physical attacks and if you destroy the lower half of their face they can't bite you anymore.

Sounds quite boring....which it is..but that's exactly what i understand about surviving: Not risking anything if it's not necessary.

If that's the only thing you did then you never understood the game....you need to go and KoS now or you'll get bored. I really wish they would just remove all military loot sites all together...
