Wind doesn't affect the trajectory, there is only bullet drop. The only mod i know of that has wind is A.C.E. and it was quite challenging. You could see who was serious about long range shooting and who practiced it. Most players ran around with a scoped rifle ( DMR style or bolt action ) without hitting shit over 300m.

Ah ok understood it wrong but you can't stop people from hosting servers unless BIS has a policy where hosters can only have x amount of servers online. -
...stronger spring...airsoft...Mosin...? Building weapons from parts is fine but imo a bit too "endworldish". I'm pretty sure it can be balanced like in Metro where you can still find "normal" weapons but considering the size of Chernarus, hopping and server restarts weapons are spread too dense.

Like rocket claiming DayZ is a survival game but KoSing himself...? I think he is just realizing his dream and doesn't really care about the core of the game anymore.

BIS did that when they adopted the Lynx GM6 in ArmA 3 but honestly it's looks different from videos you can find on the internet and the game...like the M107 that makes your barrel rise sky high and stay there instead of following gravity and coming back down just so it isn't too op.

That works if you have enough people ( preferably more than those who want to kill you ) or you need more "market spots" so they can't be camped 24/7. Nothing stops another player from hunting you down after you left the market or safe zone. Altough it's called safezone it doesn't stop you from beeing griefed even on the inside.

Well you kind of buy it ( if you are a rich russian you can buy a russian made AR - look at how small the magazine is - and other expensive firearms http://www.russiadefence.net/t1893-russian-civilian-firearms http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SirMfo-0vCQ ) but if you look at the prices in the states for a good variant you are definitively not going to find one in rural Chernarus unless it's stolen from a source with questionable backstory ( like a former elite supermarine navy seal spending his pension in Chernarus ). That's why .22LR firearms are so popular because they are quite cheap. I wonder when they are going to add those bread and butter firearms.

If so you also need no server hopping on hardcore for that to work. Otherwise hopping will be even worse. Players should be more dependant on what nature can offer instead of a supermarket. What gets ruined is gone, that's how scarcity works otherwise we would just be a vacation in the woods where you can just get some beans when you are hungry. Maybe that makes players take care of their stuff more and value lives and equipment instead of risking it because they got bored.

Steyr AUG users worldwide.. ...nope...they don't use it. This gun is mostly used by special forces or police forces who don't want to spend too much money on an Armalite.

I just think the game is played the way he did not think it would be played...the experiment ended in a desaster and the only way players interact is via violence. He knows well that he did the same mistakes BIS did with their other games. Nice engine but the wrong one for the game and the wrong company size. Although they made millions i doubt they will be able to put the resources they have to good use. -
CPR could be difficult with bullet holes in your carcass...just saying...

Then you have been pretty lucky he also didn't try to kill you. It doesn't depend on the presence of a weapon if a player is a KoSer or not. When i started playing i found a hatchet in a barn, turned around and saw another freshspawn entering. He saluted, i saluted back and both went our ways. What would have happened if he had found the hatchet first? What if boxing was already possible in the mod?

You don't need restarts, a script will do the same and gear shouldn't be respawning that fast and frequent anyway. You guys just want your 100 M4s with magpul stuff.
