So basically you say that if you want to move in every other shooter you just tap w once? Everybody "runs/plays" for hours pressing the forwards key and nobody complains :huh: Somehow since DayZ became popular to the casual/console players this idea came up...not that i dislike the idea. -

No help for you, accept it and keep playing or delete the game are the only solutions. -
Doesn't stop me from stuffing them into the backpack and letting either the buttstock on which is better let the barrel stick out the top. But you can get caught easily in anything that is higher than your head and you backpack is open which increases the possibility of something to fall out...even your rifle because nothing really is secured correctly anymore. I doubt you would want to carry full sized rifles ( bolt action, assault rifles ) in an open backpack ( like a large trekking pack ). And of course weight and encumbrance should be an issue here, i should not be able to hop around and do marathons with a heavy/encumbering load.

I don't even think that the engine is the problem at this point...it's the user hardware that causes the users problems in most cases before bugs etc. And OP if you don`'t want to do something boring why don't you play an action loaded fps? A survival game is about surviving and not about shooting 24/7. If they would show the scenes what the people do in TWD 90% of the series would be daily chores, how boring would that be only because they don#t show it doesn't mean their life is just meeting other groups in every episode and either making friends or shooting eachother.

Country too small, too rural...too poor..not post industrial state...you understand what rural means? Edit: I don't know how tough those frame drops are maybe it's just the lack of optimization which i bet it isn't, what i think is most of the players rigs just can't take it but i have severe frame drops ( ->10fps fps less ) when i get close to the larger town(s) in Napf that are larger compared to the ones in Chernarus..ok the land mass is about twice the size...I bet even my rig will not handle it that well.

If you don't have an advantage from commiting suicide why suicide in the first place? Everyone who suicides just wants to get close to the place he died or his friends are anyway. There is no other use for this option other than that...and most players would try to KoS their way out and die instead of having griefers have their way with them...well it's KoS 24/ anyway. While having more spawn points and differing starting gear would be great i doubt most people would be prepared and have their loot back, weapon and a trunk full of ammo with them. Even Doomsday preppers have to get to their stash first and i doubt 50% will even make it there in one piece let alone alive. -
I think he just needs an SSD because the textures seem to pop up.

While i like the idea that most shots aren't instakill and the victom can still retaliate if he/she is fast enough through this bug/feature/script whatever i do agree that it has to be made faster. I think it has something to do with calculating the blood value and damage you take and what effect has to be done. -

Yeah sure... I'd say you can find the same amount of morons on each side and in every other game. Look for another server because imo only a minority of abusive admins makes the good majority look bad. -
Perfomance problems with decent rig? Check CPU temperature.

OEM coolers should suffice if you don't plan to overclock. I had a 1337 cooler on my Core 2 Duo and didn't really need it so i didn't get one when i got my i7 2600K. Must be a bad connection between the cpu and cooler body/no cooling paste, not properly mounted. -
Unless it's a magical meat golem i don't understand how a zombie of the same size can deal with more damage than a normal one.

Why not? I'm all for it or if you still want it have them let you try and put 100 holes into your arm before you hit one properly. There is something wrong with the average survivor to have the right stance all the time, reload with the same efficiency all of the time and sooht consistent all of the time and of course having the endurance of a marathon runner paired with the speed of usain bolt.

i wonder if NASA will lend me one of their computers... tbh "we normal players" will be the last who could afford VBS3 because one license would cost like a couple thousand dollars and let me be direct: 90% of our playerbase runs DayZ on laptops inferior to a state of the art smartphone because they can't even afford decent hardware...

I do agree that the conditions of the attachments is pretty messed up and gamey. It either is broken or not but nothing in between and in case of a couple of sights you should be able to rezero it unless it's really broken on the inside and loses zero all the time which on the other hand tells me it is broken therefor useless and doesn't even deserve a slot in my backpack. Knives or bayonets in a rifles case can have pristine, brand new, used or heavily worn as well as most tools. I doubt a worn hammer will be less useful than a pristine one though. A worn screw driver can mess up the screws f.e.

Most 3p users don't want to admit it but the other player has the same advantage over them when they can't see him but the other one is safe behind cover and kills them...then they whine about the other one beeing a camper bitch. If i wanted to watch a player who is moving into my direction on a 1p server i had to peek around the corner and expose myself giving the other player a chance to see me.

Yeah i know i have like a 30:9 monitor...jk but it does give you a bit more fov ( side mirrors and a bit more show up when inside a car although they are of no use instead of just looking through the front window ) What most wider fov users don't know/complain about is that because the camera is moved backwards into your head they have up to a couple of meters less view distance through this tweak.

Minecraft has mines and snowbiomes. Build a safe prison out of obsidian, just make sure they don't have diamond pickaxes. My point beeing: Chernarus is too small to have that many weather zones as it is now.

A sniping guide for new players

So far every "sniper" does everything wrong according to the book. Even i make these mistakes from time to time but i have rarely been found even when they were actively searching for me in clan wars but i don''t fire away like i had a machine gun and i was either in the center of the group or the farthest away from the objective to have a good view of the field. And i never shoot when i am not sure i can hit, it cost some of my teammates nerves when i saw someone far away in DayZ and they wanted me to shoot the player and i denied most of the time because my gut feeling told me not to shoot because the targets weren't always alone most of the time. :rolleyes:
