It's the bad scripting and bad client computers that kill performace. Imagine me in my stang wanting to drive 250km/h on the autobahn but it's full of people with 40ps micro cars driving 90km/h. That's how you slow down a fast system.

People IRL wouldn't shoot each other on sight. There is only a cold blooded minority that does that. I wouldn't call a hero a hero either, more like a samaritan. Nobody would run around fooling people like Frankie and he wouldn't get those reactions either...it's Frankie...who?

Like i have hubble vision IRL...you see plenty even when you don't zoom out and even more when you use rmb zoom and imo it's unfair to players who have magnification devices...set your resolution higher or see a doctor. That's what i loved about PR:ArmA because they removed this option, either you had a scope/binocs and could see what was far away or you didn't. Even the slight zoom when going for the iron sights/aimpoint was gone.

They have been cases where people commited suicide with a .22 in one case it was even the smallest caliber a gun owner had. He had much bigger calibers to choose from. And Germany even prohibited the posession of .22 without a license when the RAF used them for crimes...like that stopped them shooting other people with other guns. While a .22 has the potential to kill you or at least inflict a deadly wound some people here are acting like they wouldn't bother getting shot at because it's so weak. So how about they let themselves get shot at ( again ) nobody calls for help and they have to treat the wound with what they have at hand ( pieces of cloth or a band aid because "a .22 is so puny and only makes a small hole" ) and try to survive for a couple of days. With our medical system you can even have your head splattered on the ceiling and they can still make you survive.

It so old it also happens in the mod. I got kicked a couple of times due to failed signature check all the stuff i did until a few seconds before that weren't saved.

Seems they got full of theirselves judging by the first sentences. I kind of like this...it keeps abusive elements out of the game and keeps the SA community in one piece because nobody can modify anything for the time beeing. I hope when it's possible it will just be content and not the mission or difficulty ( other than raising it which i don#t have a problem with ).

I just googled around...the term Duck tape is quite old and it's supposed to be a refference to the back of a duck which has the same aquaphobic capabilities as the tape. the world gets weirder every minute :huh: :rolleyes:

The guy missed the vital point, there are enough reports of people killing themselves with a shot to the head and also quite a few who even survived multiple shots to the head with a .357...but in case he shot himself in the head or anywhere else more or less vital in a DayZ environment he wouldn't have gotten any help at all which makes the round lethal. It doesn't necessarily kill you with the first shot but i doubt any normal person is willing to continue his attack when he is hit by even the smallest caliber. It's a game, it's easy to brush it off because you can't feel the pain but let's say you have a .45 and get into a fight with someone with a .22LR pistol and said person manages to hit you with that pistol a couple of times i doubt your morale will still be as high as when you thought that guy just has a puny gun.

You guys can have a 500L backback...if you can still carry it.

What's your region? If it's Europe i can point you at some Euro hardcore servers...hardcore not just by name ( 1P, no helpers ). Either vanilla or another mod. Rocket has the potential to fuck up the SA too if he keeps westernizing it. I'm also waiting for a better reason to buy the SA...not just for KoSing or beeing KoSed during "testing". That's what it is for me currently. You have to admit the mod has still more to offer survivalwise. Let's see what the future brings and first and foremost when. I don't mind paying 5-10€ more because i have been waiting for a better version since i already wasted money on ArmA 3 when i thought why not buy now when it's alpha, it can only get better...it didn't really meet my expectations but i'm waiting for A.C.E. 3 :) .
