    Rounds/ Magazines as seperate loot.

    ArmA only knows full magazines if you drop them as loot or reconnect. If you drop them during gameplay they will stay as they are as long as the server doesn't restart.

    Randomize military loot spawns

    +1(00000000000000) Most ppl i encountered had military grade weapons and one of them even topped it. NVG, Ghillie, M107, G17, PDW, medical supplies like a hospital etc. I mostly got shot or shot at with high powered scoped or assault rifles ( western ones ).

    I doubt you really want that feature to be added into the game, it won't work anyway because ArmA isn't made to be a morality game where you kill ppl anyway. And you don't need a "Do you really want to execute shoot? You need administrator rights to do so." pop up like windows always asks you.

    Zombies run like race cars

    It's pathfinding related...slowing them down to run instead of sprint might help but would make them less of a threat. Aim better... ;)

    Your character switching stances faster.

    Do you understand what you are asking for? How long have you been playing ArmA 2? This is not CoD or whatever jump n run shooter you played before where you jump 2m high and do the dolphin dive. btw... it takes almost as long to change the stance in A2 as in WaW f.e. This is the wrong forum for it btw...Things considering animations are BIS stuff no DayZ staff stuff because they didn't make the basic models in the first place.

    Claymores

    If you only think about sniping alone in the woods, proly sniping players who just came out of a major looting area you didn't understand the concept of dayz... If you want to snipe ppl go play warfare or domi, you can lay thousands of claymore behind your back and hopefully run into one of them while retreating.

    It's a different setting than difficulty afaik. It's also on some veteran servers, it simulates your RL fov because your monitor only show part of it.

    As far as a buddy tried you can't make a shot anywhere on the body except the head non lethal because the damage has to be done first before you can subtract it. However if you "harden" all body parts except the head on the zombie models... The PMC models should have a body armor too afaik. I got shot with a pistol 3 or 4 times when i ran into a bandit rushing into the woods. He was less fortunate and took 10 hits with 7,62 NATO from 2 rifles. So i assume the center mass has more resistance, i didn't count how many rounds it took to drop him due to the panic but he didn't drop on the first. If the PMC are not armored so be it, but it is possible to do so.
  11. The only way to disconnect to safety should be finding a safe place ( house / tent / woods ) if you want your character to still be alive if you reconnect the next time.
  12. I'd rather have the NVGs removed from the game. The most important thing for a survivor is food and supplies, i'd rather have a can of beans and a warm secure place to sleep than a NVG. I hope they patch the "darkness" away soon, wasn't i caused by a patch?

    Airdrop Packages

    Don't we already have enough weapons and DM in the game? I also thought of that idea but it would ruin the game even more as it is already. I'm already happy enough that you can't find tons of weapons, ammo and equipment in the barracks.
  14. You aren't actually disarmed. It's just that he rests his weapon on his legs or holsters a pistol before going into the sitting position. If you played the game long enough you know it won't work this way. You can DC/quit anytime with alt-f4 or task manager if you really are that desperate to leave because the disconnect /abort function in not depending on the players stance/health/stamina/whatever to work. Ask BIS if they want to do this just for the mod and add tons of bugs for that feature.

    The ability to outrun zombies.

    If you happen to lose LOS yes. If you have to run over an open field it's hard to lose a horde of zombies who are after you. But still the game should use more than just sprinting walkers ( keeping he hoppers or prone ones aside ). At least until AI pathfinding and lag is better ( the aggro system can cause lag depending on the clients upload speed )

    make hunting for food a challange

    There are times where i find up to five animals a day, or none when i really need the food so i use up a can. I think it's balanced enough. Weird animal behaviour should be addressed to BIS, they made the AI.

    More rare spawns.

    While you're at it why not spawn a Tank or even an Attack Helo... Military grade weapons and equipment should be toned down a bit more, too many high powered scoped rifles for my taste. OK AK variants are fine for this region, everybody could have one at home in (cherna)russ(ia) but there are also way too many western weapons imo.

    limited respawns /week

    Give PVPers ( murderers ) and ppl who die too often a longer spawntime per kill, as far as i can see it's a pvp/pve type of game but most players seem to do the pvp part only if you take a look at the avg life exp and the kill messages in the chat ( if turned on ). If i remember correct this was used in Sahrani Life to prevent senseless civ - cop shootouts ( f.e. just starting a shootout for fun of shooting others and disturbing the intended goal of the game ).

    Weapon safe mode

    I know what you mean, the only Mod i know that supports this is A.C.E. Even if you lower your weapon you can still accidentally discharge it by pressing lmb too often or die because you panic and forgot to raise your gun and try to aim.

    Disconnecting to avoid death

    Just bind the character to the server and when somebody joins ( either by rejoining after disco or connecting to continue playing ) let them have a cooldown time for a couple of seconds so just in case they disconnect after beeing shot they will eventually be shot if they were stupid enough to come back the minute later because they can't move yet. Doing it the other way ( delay when disconnecting ) wouldn't work because it's in the game/engine, you name it. There should be small numbers of zombies that are not bound to a player but to a town so if they aggro and a player disconnects they would still be there and chew him up if the area was left dangerous when disconnecting, in return you can reduce the overall zombie count per player. Ppl can of course avoid death by leaving the game in a zombie free zone. You hit two actually three birds with one stone. No more whining about escaping death but also take players abilities to run away from a fight, connect to another server, switch locations, connect back and shoot from another location and farming for loot. If they bleed and quit let them bleed to death. Almost the same shit happened when i played Sahrani Life, but they got a system working eventually to counter bad behaviour.
  21. As stated above i got kicked after joining a server where the admin just restarted the game. Every player who didn't have a Clantag got kicked too, no reason given.
