You answered yourself already. You answered yourself already. Radio is said to be superrare, i'm not sure about that. It's of no use anyway, at least atm.

1st person isn't that bad. IRL your neck would absorb the shock so your vision would be more satable, it's like attaching a camera to a bike without suspension and driving down a bad road = shaky camera. If you compare CoD/BF3 with ArmA these are two extreme opposites in 1st person view. But nothing will immerse you more into a game than beeing able to move your head freely from your body. If they only had a way to neutralize the camera bouncing in ArmA 2, headbob doesn't really feel realistic so i either deactivate it or set it on lowest depending on the game i play because IRL even if you head is shaking your eyes compensate for it. Also i have found out that depeding on the engine i either get motion sick or not. f.e. if i play on a super fast engine with smooth fps and then suddenly play ArmA 2 which is a huge difference to me even if it shows the same fps, i need a couple of minutes to get used to it.

Try playing 1st person for a couple of hours...you get enough motion sick doing only that :D

Yes but you would try other means of transporting such stuff if you could. An engine is quite big and can be really heavy. Now imagine your average 70 kg person trying to move that thing around with an engine on it and his backpack with supplies and maybe two weapons and a sidearm...I'd rather lift it on the Coyota Hilux because the open bed makes it easy to load ( ArmA name ) and move it like that and i would take a friend with me. Heavy things should be liftable only with 2+ players imo. Even carrying a tyre can tire you out, let alone can you fit one in a backpack.

I think if it were like in "The Walking Dead" you wouldn't have to bother if you have a rubber or not when you engage a zombie prostitute in "close combat" because you are already infected :D The map is quite ok, in a rural environment it should be easier to survive in than in an urban environment, at least i would try to gtho of a city if i were in one.

PvE is soo boring, i stopped playing domi a long time ago although it was with A.C.E. and the community was really good. But without PvP it's the same cycle every time. They tested how a pvp domi would work...you could see how a player was moving how often they PvE'd, just walking straight, never looking left or right.

Distinction between bandit and murderer?

IRL that might be the case...in DayZ however a bandit kills for loot, a murderer kills for loot/kills, a survivor kills for loot...all the same. Roleplaying a robbery isn't an option until they fix the dc/alt-f4 problem, most players would try to fight and die in the process anyway if they couldn't dc in this situation. -
Take a satchel out of the box, plant it next to it move back 50m, go prone then detonate.

Reduce player speed based on carried weight.

Not only would a loaded player be slower, he would also get tired faster nad have to rest or drop like in A.C.E. Hopefully it will be in the standalone in a similar way so people who have the "need" to carry a weapon for every case will become obsolete. -
The problem is PvE players demand an environment for them in a game that is designed with PvP as part of it. Just play some SP only title and unplug your internet cable just to be sure no pk shows up if you want to PvE, i do the same, but i keep the cable attached. It would be a reasonable demand if this game was designed for PvE coop and pk would be running around to grief others.

Too much coop in ArmA 2 already. DayZ is one of the last modes that encourage PvP. It should stay that way. But sometimes it really is too much PvP and not enough cooperation.

Even heroes are murderers...at least you should expect that a player with a hero skin doesn't attack unprovoked. -

I am sure it is possible, i wonder why it isn't done yet. Apache, that's a good idea but as long as you can just alt-f4 or dc that's not going to work. Of course they could try to disable the function, like "respawn" as long as you have aggroed Zeds ---> whining in the forum. -

Low pop doesn't mean it's safe..it's safer compared to high pop servers where the type of hacks might be "hacks of mass destruction" rather than teleporting around killing people or spawning ammo crates / joining with hacked weapons like the TWS when it gets dark. -

Slow moving lead bullets actually have more energy transfer into a target than a pointy bullet flying at supersonic speed that has more potential to penetrate a target at the same distance ( not at utopic ranges, i'm talking about the muskets effective range ). -
Did you read my post? If they happen to set the distance to 1m to be able to "introduce" themselves what would happen if a player who is as blind as a bat gets close enough to a player hiding because he doesn't to interact, he would recieve a hint through that tag. "oh, wtf the bush has a name". Zeds and players are blufor. Sometimes bandits are shown as red, sometimes as white. The huey is shown red, too. The system is confusing and actually useless because you see spots and get exited for nothing.
